Hawk Pov:

I woke up at 7:30 after only getting two hours of sleep.

I hear vigorous knocking on my door.

"ELI YOUR GONNA BE LATE!", My mom yells

'Sh1t..'

I get up and walk to my door opening it.

"Do I have time to do my hair and eat..?"

"No! You don't need that crap in your hair!!"

I groan and close the door as she continues yelling at me

"And you can eat at school!"

And with that, I could no longer hear her as I walked into my bathroom to take a shower can't take a long one but it's the least I can do

As soon as I enter the warm tomb I turn the knob to cold water, Miguel said I should try it, and even though I'm tired he said it would help with muscle soreness, as I move my red hair out of my face and water flows past my closed eyes flashes of 'The Incident'come by

"FINISH HIM!"

"DO IT P___Y!!"

"NO, WAIT ELI STOP IT'S ME!"

I open my eyes and turn off the water

'F__king pr!ck'

I wrap the towel around my waist and walk out going to my closet

I open the doors and walk in looking for clothes

I walk out and grab my bag my mom stops me at the door

"Where's my hug young man"

"Mom I thought you were
annoyed"

"Yes but I'll go back to that later"

We hugged and I left to walk to school

Great she complains that I'm late and I have to F___king walk

I enter the doors seeing my friends by my locker

"Hawk there you are man where have you been-!",Miguel Said running toward me

"And God did you get ANY sleep? You look depressed-",He continued  walking beside me despite me ignoring him

"Quit ignoring me!!",He said dramatically, I obviously rolled my eyes knowing he's just a drama king

"I'm fine dude just tierd I stayed up a later the usual to practice",I said pushing him away slightly and walking over to the rest of the group

Suddenly he saw someone he thought he wouldn't see for awhile,"O-Oh- Hey Hawk-",It was Demetri he was just standing there  looking at Hawk as if he hadn't done anything

"H-Hey uh-",Hawk cleared his throat and looked away to which Miguel pulled Hawk over to talk

"You ok-?",Miguel whispered,"I uh- I just wasn't expecting to see Demetri I uh did want to apologize to him though..",Hawk looked back at Demetri realizing Demetri had a  cast on from when Hawk broke his arm

'God I feel so bad..',Hawk thought and with that the bell rang and Hawk remembered him and Demetri had the same first period, Hawk ran over to Demetri,"Hey wanna walk together- I mean it's ok of you don't I can totally understand",Hawk kept rambling until,"Sure we can walk together!",Suddenly Hawk stopped right then and there

On the inside Hawk was secretly screaming out of fear and excitement but on the outside he kept together and nodded

"Oh uh- by the way I- uh I'm sorry about your arm..peer pressure I guess",Hawk looked down.

Demetri POV:

I looked at Eli who was looking away with his hand on the back of his neck I totally understood how he felt when he said that

I felt so bad I wanted to hug him but I know he was never very fond of physical touch

I stayed silent and so did he we got to class and I finally spoke before we walked in

"I forgive you Eli.."
