Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeen!

...

With all its sorrow, the moon seems to shine much duller than yesterday.

He gazes at it with nothing in his eyes, numbness in his whole face as the moon attempts to shine its light upon him. It seems that his love and admiration for the celestial being was put away only as a memory, safely kept somewhere in his mind.

So strange was the feeling that he didn't understand why and when it began.

Yet, as long as he's there, holding your hand tenderly as the song plays from the car's radio, he knew that all in his life was enough.

He will be just fine.

Ako'y sa'yo, ikaw ay akin

I am yours, and you are mine

Ganda mo sa paningin

You're such a beautiful sight

Ako ngayo'y nag-iisa

and now I am feeling lonely

Sana ay tabihan na

If only you could sit beside me

Street lamps glimmer brightly on both sides of the street.

Your dress slightly lifts during every step you make. Your hands fly free at either side while you dance as if the street was your stage. Despite having imperfect hair, every bounce and sway it does is enough for Jun to fool himself he was watching you move in slow motion. A beautiful scene coming straight out of a movie.

You look absolutely ethereal, his thoughts speak for themselves.

His loving stare followed your figure up until your fingertips. The longer he stares, the background turns into a blurry mix of colors. He lay against the front of his car, fully relaxed by the sight, just for the peace to be broken when he noticed sheds of light coming near at a fast pace.

His reflexes kicked when Jun locked his arms around your waist, pulling you harshly to the sidewalk. A string of curses escapes his mouth only for you to try to calm him, soothing him back to his right senses.

Instead of calming down, he pushes you equally as harsh and doesn't plan to hold his words back.

"You could've been run over!" He shouts, following another swear to his previous sentence. "If I haven't pulled you, heaven knows what could have happened to you!"

Despite him lashing out, you kept your silence and kept soothing him. He released a strong huff whilst you opened your arms, gesturing for him to have an embrace. His demeanor softened and allowed himself to be enveloped with your warmth, inhaling the scent he could recognize from a mile away.

"I just want you to take care more often. I told you once and I'm going to tell you again, you're the reason why I'm sane these days." He whispers, not a lie to be detected from his words.

Your fingers comb through his locks and you respond simply, "I know."
