Chapter 4

Back to Gene's POV y'all

Last night was.. something,i woke up in Alex's room..in his arms..and for sure i woke up way to early,last night i didn't thought of nothing,but it hit me late..how are we supposed to tell everyone? Are we gonna tell them? They'll be ok with it?  God i wish i didn't thought about this, and i wanted to go back to sleep. Well there goes my sleep, I'll just get up,go make myself a coffee, and check the Chameleon...i know for a fact Alex isn't gonna wake up soon...
I left the room and went to the kitchen only to meet there with Leonora

"You're up early"

"A princess must wake up early in order to get ready to look fabulous for the whole day"

"I see"

"Why are you up this early?"

"I woke up and i couldn't go back to sleep,so here i am"

"Want coffee?"

"Yeah.."

"Me too,do you know how to make coffee?"

"Yeah don't you?"

"...no..."

"Ah... I'll make us some then"

I started to make the coffee when i hear her speak again

"So with who you were last night?"

"What do you mean?"

"Heard you roaming around the halls last night"

"And how do you know it was me?"

"Beacuse it was late, you don't quite sleep soo"

"Ok you got me"

"So who was it"

I paused a moment...shall i lie or tell her the truth,well i can't quite lie to her since she reads you like an open book...

"Doesn't matter"

"You're hiding something and im gonna find out what"

"Is that a threat?" I said handing her the cup

"No it's a promise"

Great that's what I needed, her to start digging, wait, no one was around Last night so i shouldn't be worried,at least i think so..i really need to talk with Alex..

"Well thank you for the coffee, I'll go now i have stuff to do, see you"

"See you.."

After she left i stayed there, thinking on what to do next,i was so consumed in my thoughts that i didn't notice someone hugging me from behind

"Gene"

I snapped out of whatever i was thinking to see Alex

"Hey"

"Are you ok? Something bothering you?"

"I was just thinking..."

"Well it must be something important,you didn't felt me coming behind you"

"Yeah.."

"Spit it out"

"What are we gonna do? Are we gonna tell everyone or keep it secret? What if they don't accept it, what if we have to split..what if..."

"Calm down. We'll find an answer, until then i say we keep it to ourselves, like that idea?"

"Yeah.."

"Speaking of couples i think Sir Gareth and Sir Archibald might be dating for a while.."

"How do you know?"

"I have a feeling"

"Pfft you and your feelings.."

"It's a sixth sense"

"It really isn't"

"You love to destroy my fun" he said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek

We heard someone coming in the kitchen so we separated as fast as we could, Alex almost fell trying to go on the other side of the table

"Hi guys!" The girls said as the entered

"Morning"

"How did you guys sleep?" Said Twinkle as she sat next to me

"Actually i slept better"

"Same" Alex said smiling

"Any plans for today? If not we shall go treasure hunting!"

"Of Ruby...you and your treasure hunts.."

"Well we don't have anything better to do so..." Alex said

"Great! I'll go look for the map! I have it somewhere" Ruby said as she ran off to who knows where she's keeping that map

"Then I'll go check the Chameleon to make sure everything it's ok with it"

"I'll come with you"

"I'll go look for Alien" Twinkle said as she flew away
Me and Alex went to the Chameleon to check everything out,as i was checking the fuel tank i hear Ruby coming

" Ok guys so this treasure is in the Lost Island, in a cave near the east side of the island"

"Which cave, there are like 4 caves there"

"And after what treasure we're looking for?" Alex asked

"The lost relic of a very powerful witch! It's said that a magical Guardian protects it!And there isn't only the relic, imagine the gold that is there!"

"Witches, magic and gold,weird combo" i said clearly not excited about it, magic isn't always only for good deeds, and we're talking about a witch...i have a bad feeling about this...

"I found Alien let's go!" Twinkle said as she and Ruby got in the Chameleon, i think Alex saw my distress beacuse he had a worried look on his face

"Everything ok?"

"I have a bad feeling about it... something's gonna go wrong..."

"We'll be careful ok? Calm down please I need you to think clear"

"I'll try.."

"That's the spirit" he said as he kissed my cheek and went into the Chameleon,i followed him and we left to go to the so said cave
The girls were chatting about what could be there but i couldn't focus, there's the thing with Alex and i... this whole trip, something's gonna happen and im not at peace

"Gene do you want me to control the Chameleon? You don't seem ok.."

"I'm ok Alex I'm trying to calm down..."

"You got this dear.." he whispered loud enough for me to hear him...i appreciate him trying to comfort me...

"Here we are! Stop here Gene!"

I stopped the Chameleon and we got off

"This looks...like a normal cave..." Twinkle said

"Let's get in and see what we find" Alex said as he went in, I'm still skeptical about this...
We walked for about 15 minutes before we stopped in front of two paths,this is just great...

"Seems like the cave splits in two..." Ruby said

"Then we'll split and see what we find" Alex suggested, not what I wanted, i swear this can't get any worse...

"Well I'll go with Twinkle" Said Ruby

"Well at least take this" i said as i handed her a communication device
"In case something happen.."

"Great! Let's go Twinkle" she said as they went trough the right path, Alex started walking through the left path with me following him, this feeling i have...is getting stronger...i really hope im worrying for nothing and that everything Will be great...
