Mariah Miller
I had to look perfect. My blonde hair was perfectly straightened, I wore my shortest pleated skirt but wasn't too short to where my butt was showing, and a pink cropped top with a hoodie over it.
The hoodie was just in case I happened to run across someone I knew in the process of leaving the house.
I had to look attractive to him. This would all be a waste of time if he didn't find me attractive right?
I was more nervous about seeing him than telling my mom I was leaving to sleep over at Destinies. She wasn't even home so this had to be done over the phone, and I had to have my story straight.
Before I could call my mom, she called me. I was nervous and let the phone ring a few more times before deciding to stop the anxious fit I was throwing in my head.
Calm down Mariah, just tell her and you'll be free to go.
"H-Hello?"
"Hey Riah, you home yet? I made you some dinner before I left since I won't be home tonight"
"Yes I'm home now"
"Destiny called me and said you were sleeping over tonight is that true? It's pretty odd to have a sleepover on a Monday night"
I made a mental note to Thank Destiny later for taking the stress away from having to tell her myself.
"We have some work to catch up on together mom, we thought it'd be best just to sleep over."
"Fine, but make sure you get to school tomorrow and don't just stay up all night doing work, be sure to get some sleep"
"I-I know mom"
"Okay Ri you're getting older, I'm trusting you now because you know I'd usually tell you no. You're turning 17 soon so I know you'll be on your best behavior"
"Got it, mom"
"Okay Riah, love you I'll see you tomorrow"
"Love you too"
I hurriedly hung up and my sigh of relief finally escaped. That I definitely had been holding in for a while.
Zach

You know I won't :)_____
"You look gorgeous doll" My cheeks turned red as I let him do my seatbelt and close my door for me, just like he did the last time.
"Really?" He grabbed my chin and turned my head to look at him, our eyes locked and a small smile on his face. The butterflies in my stomach wouldn't stop flying.
He was the only one who could keep them busy.
"Really"
We began on our way to the amusement park that I only went to because he invited me. I hated rollercoasters and the crowds that amusement parks held, but I couldn't tell him no.
