Chapter 6

As night fell me and Shana sat in the hotel room plotting on what to do next. Our room was plain not as luxurious as the others. You get what you pay for...I guess.

We decided to have dinner at the restaurant down stairs to ease our minds. Maybe even a little Gin too. We walked out the door and descended down the hall and just as we were walking we spot my husband down the hall putting in his room key. We quickly duck behind a pillar that was in the hall.

I didn't know he stayed in this hotel. Shana whispers.

Hell I didn't either. I say.

I peek from behind the pillar and I see that he is gone. But just before we could move the elevator dings.

The waitress from the cafe steps out in a tight fitted red dress that exposed her breast partially. She walks over to my husband's door with a bottle of champagne in hand.

He opens the door and she walks in. My eyes became big. I walk from behind the pillar and walk towards the elevator.

He really is cheating in me. I say in disbelief.
We don't know that. Shana says.
Maybe she is.... Shana starts.

I walk on to the elevator.

We rode down to the lobby and to the restaurant.

We slid into a Booth and began to order.

I can't believe it. I say.
He really is cheating. I say.

Shana looks up at me and sighs. She grabbed my hand.
Look, we don't know that for sure. Shana says.
Stop telling me that. I say ripping my hand away and slamming it on the table.
The patrons around us started to turn around and stare. I look at them and got up and walked out. I was embarrassed... humiliated. I ran into the bathroom and went into the stall. I cried on the toilet and as I was crying and felt a lump in my stomach then into my throat and out my mouth. I threw up all over the bathroom door.
I wiped my mouth and splashed water into my mouth. I walked out the bathroom and started towards the elevator. I went back up to the room.
Just as the elevator stopped at my floor, the waitress girl Dani walked into the elevator. Instead of me getting off I decided to take the ride with her.

Hey, you are the woman from the cafe. Dani says smiling.
Yea and. I say with an attitude.
Well I didnt know you were staying here.
She says.
Yea, on vacation. I say
So who..I mean what are you doing here. I ask her.
I came to California to explore acting. She says.
I met this great guy today. He's a lawyer. She says.
Aww a lawyer, hmm so you just met him. Are you visiting him in this hotel. I question.
Yea, I just left from with him. She says.
So...what were you guys up to. I asks.
She begins to giggle.
Well you know, she giggles again.
O this is my stop. She says.

She gets off the elevator after waving goodbye to me. I really wanted to slap the bitch in her face.

I took my phone out my purse and called Shana.

Shana let's go. I'm over this. He will come home to divorce papers. I say.

I went up to my room to pack my things so I can get the hell out of here.

My sex life wasn't what I thought it was because he was cheating.

Now I know what I have to do.
