Brothers Adventures Side Story: The Forgotten

Prologue

One night in Japan

It was very warming and usual night and the moon shines toward the western house in Beika. Inside the house right on the second floor, there was a high schooler boy who's now doing his homework on his room alone. The light of the room shows the boy wearing a casual blue shirt and black pants, he seems very serious doing his homework

My name is Kudou Shinichi

I'm the famous high school detective who solve many murder cases. I got called as the savior of police force by the media for my skill on solving cases and helping the police to solve cases and help capturing the criminals

My dad is a famous mystery novelist, Kudou Yusaku and my mother is a former famous actress, Fujimine Yukiko. Both of them are now living in LA for work and stuff, they have been leaving me alone in Japan ever since I was 9 because I don't want to leave Japan. The next year of that, much to my surprised when I heard from them that I have a new little brother?

Inside the house on the first floor, there was a grade schooler boy who's stirring a pot of soup diligently. He quickly take a look on the oven as he took it out and open the lid of the pan which to be beef that was already cut into cube sizes. He tastes some before putting the beef into the plate and then put the plate to the table where he and Shinichi will be eating. Furthermore, he looks at the time which shows exactly 8 PM and he took out some soup to the bowl

"Niichan! It's dinner time!" shout the boy from the kitchen
"Coming!" shout Shinichi as he close his book

Shinichi goes to the kitchen and sit on his usual eating spot. The one who called him smile as he gives Shinichi's hot soup and rice to eat.

"Oh today's menu is beef?" asked Shinichi as he take the soup and rice from the boy
"Yeah, I found a good quality and cheap beef at the supermarket this evening with Ran-neechan"
"As expected from you"

After that the boy take off his apron and sit by Shinichi's side who also want to eat

"Itadakimasu!"

Both of them eat the beef with the rice and Shinichi smile as the food is delicious and the boy give a smile by Shinichi's reaction. Shinichi look at the boy who's now eating

This boy is Kudou Conan

He's famous for being the rival of the most wanted phantom thief, Kaitou Kid. He got called as Kid Killer by one of other rival of Kaitou Kid, Suzuki Jirokichi who sees his potential and his skills on taking down Kaitou Kid.

Conan has a secret, it turns out he's a child prodigy and have knowledge more than regular grade schooler but due to some reason, he moved to Japan and stay with me. He also uses an alias as Edogawa Conan which shows us that we're only relatives instead of related to each other and only small people know about the truth

Two of us are brothers, our age are 10 years apart, why? Please ask our parents for that. Even I didn't understand why my parents still want to have more child when they knew that it would turn out like me, being in love with mysteries and want to become a detective. But I don't mind it, having a little brother sure is comfortable rather than being the only child

"Niichan, you have rice on your cheek" said Conan as he wipes Shinichi's face
"Ah sorry, thanks"
"Are you done with your homework?"
"Almost done, one more to go which is involved on the backyard. Did professor already set up the telescope?"
"Already, it's in the backyard"

Few moments later

The moon was perfect

The perfect full moon practically shines the whole country. The sky is full of stars, the weather is slightly cold but the two boys can manage. Both of them are now sitting by the grass in the backyard as they look up to the starry sky

"This is quite nice..." said Conan sitting down
"Of course it is! I told you our backyard view is better than anywhere else" said Shinichi proudly
"Yeah yeah"

Suddenly they saw one shooting star and moments later followed by more shooting stars. It's like shower of stars which make the sky view even better. Conan and Shinichi look awe by the view together and can't help to smile to each other

"There was no news about star shower today..." said Shinichi as he look through his phone
"Is it only shown in Japan?" asked Conan to his big brother
"I think so... we sure are lucky huh"
"Yeah..."

Shinichi put his hand around Conan's body which make Conan's head rest on Shinichi's body. They are really enjoying the view together as if really glad to have each other company throughout one year living together in the big house. Conan and Shinichi look at each other and smile before continue looking at the stars

"What would happen... if both of us are not related"

At the same time, In LA

One person coming off from a car with a suitcase and about to go in the airport

"Kaito! Don't forget to text me when you arrive home okay!" shout someone in the car
"Yes mom... I better get going, I have a plane to catch!"

Kaito wave his mother goodbye before entering the airport. On the plane, he looked at his phone which is a message from Jii that his notice or should we say, Kaitou Kid notice already been made for his next heist

"Can't wait to fight Tantei-kun again after a while" thought Kaito as he look outside the window

Little did he know

That his wish to compete with his rival have to be postponed and he has to face certain problem on the way

Hello guys, this is the prologue of the Side Story of Brother Adventures! This story will have Prologue Chapter, Main Chapter and Ending Chapter. The Main Chapter will be very long so that's why the Prologue and maybe the Ending chapter will be very short.

I will be using some characters from Magic Kaito but this story is majorly from Detective Conan but of course Kaitou Kid or should we say, Kuroba Kaito will appear in here and he's the key character in this side story. I hope everyone enjoy the story and please pardon my English grammars because English is not my main language
