I don't understand... how fate embraces somebody with happiness and fortune on this rotting earth.
Whilst all I feel is endless grief.
No matter how far I sight...
All I see is the darkness that pulls me deeper into it.
I'm tired of all these feelings.
I'm tired of the situation where I scream amidst thousands of people yet none of them turns around.
I'm tired of the envy and hatred that filled my soul.
I'm tired of the grudge that killing me slowly.
Maybe ... death will be more pleasant to me?
But I don't wanna die... still not....
When the twilight has gone and sunken, the dim light of the torches illuminates the cramped dungeon located in London. At that juncture, a 16-year-old maiden had lost everything. Her beloved parents were murdered, right before her eyes. And now, death even awaits her, only a few minutes left for 'the grim reaper' to pick her up.
Inside the iron bars, she lay with a gaping wound on her stomach. Her eyes were almost closed. She couldn't even feel how much it hurt when fresh blood flowed through her wound. On the verge of death, there's only hatred and anger that dominates and freezes her heart. Yet there was nothing she can do unless curse in silence.
Sebastian's PoV (Sebastian as narrator)
'I'll kill ... someone who's caused all this suffering!'
The anger that had poisoned her soul was slowly killing her...
'I don't care, even if I fall to hell."
She called me...
'I'll drag 'em all to hell with me!'
Her dark soul that's as fragile as the shards of glass led me to her...
'For that, I need power. A power that exceeds anything, exceeds anyone!'
The call grew stronger as emotion devoured her soul---emotions that make me more tempted...
'And I'd trade anything for it!'
Then, I'll also be at your service ... as your devil butler.

Tap ... tap ... tap ...
The sound of disembodied footsteps was getting closer, breaking the silence in the deserted dungeon that was lit only by torchlight. She turned her head when a black silhouette was caught by her gloomy ocean-blue irises.
"Are you truly ready to trade anything?" Said the black silhouette who immediately turned into a man in a butler suit.
"Who're you?" She asked, almost without emotions.
"Sebastian Michaelis. The darkness in your heart called me. I'm willing to help you get your revenge ... But you've to pay."
"Huh, interesting. What should I give you?"
