Justin walked into his father's office.
The chair was turned, facing the skyline of the city below them. It was nearing sunset and the lights sparkled like stars in the night sky.
The door closed behind him."What did you want to talk to me about?"
His father, Charles, spun his chair to face him. It was dark and Justin couldn't really tell, but he swore he saw a flicker of a smile on his face.
"Have a seat Justin." His father gestured to the empty chair across from him.
Reluctantly, he sat down, prepared for his next assignment.
Charles handed him a stack of documents tied together with a black ribbon.
The first one was a newspaper."Man killed at Sunset Mall."
Justin recalled a newscast from about a week ago.
Apparently, a mysterious girl had shown up at around midday and shot a man called Robert Harrison.
It was clear that this girl wasn't experienced in crime because she had left multiple clues."Is she my next assignment?" He asked, already knowing the answer.
His father nodded, the strange smile still on his face
"One thing..... Don't kill her."
