The scar was long and uneven.
It started from the spot below her knee and stopped near her ankle.
The skin around it was a ugly purplish colour.
It was too jagged to have been made with a knife, but Justin felt like it held a connection to one.

He racked his brain, searching for that piece of information that kept escaping his grasp.

The scar was so familiar, it was unnerving.

The girl still sat uneasily on the bed, a frightened look on her face.
Justin could tell that he was scaring her.

Grabbing a wrapped sandwich from his fridge, he tossed it at her.

"Here."

She took it gratefully, as if she hadn't had something decent to eat in months.
She finished it in 3 bites.
He watched her chew.
When she was finished, he asked her the question he should've asked at the beginning

"What were you doing in my house?"

Riley looked around nervously, trying to find a way to escape, but she was stuck.
Sighing, she turned to him.

"You have something I need to survive."

Her meek voice became cold and threatening.

"Give it to me."

Her hands wrapped around his neck.
