A Most Pleasant Day

Rheanyra:

I wake up to light peaking through my drawn curtains. My face is nuzzeled into Daemons neck my arm wraped up around his shoulder. I turn my head to see Ser Harwin laying next to me my other arm across his bare chest. The blanket draped over his midsection.

I feel Daemon nuzzle into my neck and scoot into me. "Good morning beautiful. Hoe are you feeling?"

I smile and lean against him. "Honestly?"

"Always."

"I feel sore. I feel aroused. I feel like I definitely enjoyed that." I say not looking at my husband.

He chuckles. "Do you want to do it again?"

"Yes." I say but before he can do anything I turn to face him. "There is something else I want to try as well."

He smiles at me. "What's that my love?"

"That can be arranged. But for now we need to decide what to do with the knight in our bed." He says nodding to the sleeping man.

Harwin:

He kisses me before heading to the door.

"Join me Harwin." The princess says extending her hand to me and leading me to the table.

"As you wish Princess." I say causing her to stop and look at me.

"Ser Harwin, if you wish to leave you may. I am not ordering you to dine with me. You may use my name and stay if you wish or we may pretend nothings happened. The choice is freely yours." She tells me and I smile.

"Rheanyra, I would love to join you in breaking fast. I just want you to feel comfortable and to not upset your husband in any way." I confess moving closer to her.

She leans forward and pulls me toward her. "If my husband is upset, he wouldn't have left you here with me. So, let's eat so we may both get on with our day."

Daemon:

The day is boring. Council, court, training the city watch. Nothing interesting since I left the room. I hope Rheanyra was adequately entertained. I was half expecting Harwin to not be at training today but part of me is glad he did not lock himself in my apartments to entertain my wife.

I almost didn't see her coming toward me when her voice pulled me from my thoughts. "Daemon? Are you alright?"

"Yes love. I seem to have gotten lost in thoughts." I confess pulling her into me. "Where are you off to Princess?"

She smiles at me and starts playing with my shirt. "I'm joining Father and Jace in the Courtyard before supper. I was thinking we may be able to sneak into the city tonight. If you're not too tired from training."

I chuckle. "Sounds pleasant Little Dragon. Should I join you in the Courtyard?"

"Please do. I feel your boy may soon take steps. I know once he does you'll be putting a sparing sword in his hands soon after." She says a pleasant look upon her face.

I smile back at her and take her arm and escort her to the court yard. Most times when we visit with Viserys and Jace Otto and Alicent are both near by with her Spawns Aegon and Heleana. Today it is only Viserys and Jace in the Courtyard.

"Where are the others Brother?" I ask as we sit in the chairs placed for us.

"Otto has decided to resign from court. It seems my wife has taken the children to help him settle in. It burdens me to say the thought almost seems calming to me." The king says before picking up young Jace. "This young boy looks just like you did as a babe brother. Even has your glare when told no. Though that may be his mother's."

I smile reaching over and pulling my son into my lap. "I think he has all the best parts of his mother."

"What ever the mix he will make a fine knight and an even more fine King." Rheanyra says before our conversations head off in all directions. The evening remains pleasant.

For the first time since my father died, I felt like I had a family. The woman I love beside me, an Heir of my own, my brother smiling. It all felt too real. To good to be true.

To all the gods old and new, I hope this feeling will last forever.
