His lost smile

1: late on first day.....

Running...... that's all you've been doing for 10 minutes now bcz u got late for your first day of job and now u are running from the bus stop as if a dog's chasing u.

when u enter the company building u are going to work in, you are awestruck by the beautiful interior of the company lounge and the beautiful people waking around and and doing their job, "WoW" is what comes out of your mouth admiring the elegance of everything, once you spot the receptionist u go to her and ask:

Y/n: "umm excuse me could u tell me where the CEO's office is?"

Receptionist: "can i have ur name plz to see if u have an appointment?"

Y/n: "Oh no no no, I'm the new secretary of the CEO. I gave my resume online and got selected for the post."

Receptionist: "oh hello miss, u must be Kang Y/n, my name's kaya, you are a bit late for your first day but it's nice to meet u and the CEO's office is on the 5th floor, go straight and turn left or ask anyone and they'll lead u there" *smiles politely at u*.

Y/n: "oh thank u so much and nice to meet u too, i'll see u around then, have a good day."

Kaya: "umm miss Y/n, I would like to give u an advice...."

Y/n: "An advice???" *for what* she thinks.

Kaya: "you might wanna be honest about why u got late at your first day bcz boss is really strict when it comes to honesty and punctuality."

Y/n: "oh umm thanks for the advice, i'll try to explain myself honestly , see u later."

Kaya: "Anytime bye."

They both wave at each other and y/n moves on to find the elevator.

Author's pov:

Y/n was looking around for the lift to get to her destination, while searching she found the lift but it was going to close soon so she ran again, the lift was near closing shut on her face but she put her purse in between the doors and she let a sigh of relief and got in when the doors opened again.

????: "well someone seems to be in a hurry?"

Y/n looked at the person and she was actually mesmerized by his beauty, he looked so soft with his delicate features yet so matured with his whole physic and stature. Then she snaps backs to reality bcz this isn't the time to ogle at someone.

Y/n: "well if you are on the brink of getting fired on your first day of work, you need to make use of your legs and specifically your BRAIN." *pointing her index finger at her head*

The person burst out laughing,

???: "well i hope all this hustle helps u Not getting fired today, i would like to see ur beautiful yet funny distraught face every day." *He chuckles*

Y/n: "well i think u find my situation really funny misterr...???"

???: "Jin, kim seokjin but just jin will be fine."

*The lift opens and they start walking without realizing that they r walking together*

Y/n: "OK Just jin, thank u for the compliment but i hope i get to experience u being in the same situation that I'm in now and have a good laugh at u too someday."

Jin: "Only if u make it through your first day here and me being the one who selected you for the secretary position, i guess the day u wait for won't be that far away." *huffs out in disbelief while looking up at nothing*

Y/n: "omg! You're the one that got me this job *bows down continuously* I'm so sorry for being so unprofessional with you sir and thank you very much for helping me" *head still low in respect*.

Jin: "oh no, plz don't be sorry it is a fun conversation for me but u need to be fast bcz your boss isn't that generous when it comes to work and don't be too formal with me, just call me jin."

*jin stops at his steps and points at a door*

Jin: "this is your destination Ms.Y/n, u might wanna hurry, I don't think he's in a good mood today."

Y/n: *looks at the door and back at jin* "is he that scary???"

Jin: "not unless you make mistakes while working which u actually have already done by being late on your first day, now go and best of luck, don't worry that much, it won't be that bad" *hopefully* (he murmurs)

Y/n: "Thank u so much for everything and I'll definitely give u a treat IF i make it through today."

Jin: "now i'll be waiting for that day to come sooner, now go and get yourself scolded..."

Y/n: *looking at jin with big doe eyes and sad expression*

Jin: "ok ok, I'm just joking" *smiles big and shakes his head* *Cute* he thinks to himself.

JIN POV:

*why does she look so much like her* he thinks to himself.
He has a bitter smile on his face now while thinking this, he shakes his thoughts off and looks at her again with a sincere smile.

Jin: "now go and get that job tiger". *While being cheerful*

Y/n: *smiles at jin* thank you so much, see u later i guess,*knocks on the office door*

Jin smiles again

Jin: Ms.Y/n fighting. *with a thumbs up*

They hear a *come in* and she takes a breath in and enters the room, not before saying "here goes nothing"

Y/N POV:

When i enter the office the first thing i saw was how beautiful the interior of the office was, it was simple yet elegant just like the lounge of the company,*they have good taste* I thought but got my attention back when i heard a cough...

Jk: i guess you are the secretary selected by Mr.kim?

Y/n: ye- yes sir. *why am i stuttering, it's just my boss*
