Chapter 18

*SOFIA'S P.O.V*
The next day....

I am happy that me and Matthew made up, but we agreed just to be friends for a little while cause I am kinda still upset that he cheated on me with Samantha. I can't wait for the end of the school day today, it is cheer tryouts and I am pretty sure I might get on the team. I am in 10th period right now, I only have a 10 minutes until cheer practice and I am kinda nervous about it to, but Matthew said I will get on the team.
*BELL RINGS*
"Are you ready to be on the cheer team" Matthew said as I walked out the classroom and headed to my locker. "yes but really really nervous" I said opening my locker and putting my bag in the locker and grabbed my cheer things. "Don't be nervous your really really good you'll make it for sure." Matthew said giving my a side hug. "I-I love yo-pizza I love pizza"I stopped my self from telling Matthew that I loved him, I really did love him but we agreed to be friends for a while. "Don't worry Sofia, I love you and always will." Matthew said smiling at me. "I love you to Matthew." I said smiling back at him. "You should start going cheer tryouts are in 3 minutes. " Omg, see you later." I said shutting my locker and give Matthew a kiss and ran to the gym. "Text me later" Matthew yelled as I realized that I just kissed him. Really Sofia your friends, friends and only friends I said in my thoughts as I ran into the locker room and changed.

*MATTHEW'S P.O.V*

"Text me later" I yelled to Sofia as she ran to the girls locker room. "What happen to being friends" Jason said. "She kissed me." I said as we walked out of the school doors. "So you didn't like it." Jason asked. "Of course I did, I wish we were together." I said as we walked to Jason car. "So get her back." Jason said as we got in his car. "She is upset and I think hates me a little for cheating on her." I said. "Did you say sorry?" He asked "Yes I have over 30 times already, she said she still wants to be friends." I sigh. "Well show her that you love her, and you want her back. Come on she has to still like you, she just kissed you." "I don't know man." I said. "What did you tell her, did you tell her what happened that night like the whole story." "No" I sigh. "Well maybe if you tell her that you got drunk at my party that she didn't want to come to, maybe she will understand tell her everything that happened and don't leave a single part out either." The rest of the car ride to my house was quite. "Thanks for the ride man." I said getting out of the car and shutting the car door. "No problem man anytime, and don't forget what I said tell her the whole story then, show her you love her and want to be with her." Jason said as he pulled away. I went inside to find my sister on the couch. "Hey bro" she said. "Hi" "What's up" she asked "Don't you hate it that you love people you can't have forever." I said upset. "Is this about you and Sofia?" she questioned. I nodded and sat next to her with my head down. "She will come around don't worry I seen you guys together she loves you a lot. If you don't want to lose her, show her that you love her the same and you didn't mean to cheat on her it was a accident." she said rubbing my back. "I will." I said getting up and headed upstairs. I went in my room and grabbed some clothes and headed in the shower.
*20 minutes later*
I turned off the water and got out and dried myself and put my clothes on. I walked into my room and looked at my phone that was plugged in, I had a text message from Sofia that read,

Sofia Baby: Hey, you were right I did make it on the cheer team😊 They might even make me caption, Thanks for telling me to tryout love ya😘

I smiled, I was happy that she made in the team, and I blushed at the Love ya part until I read the the next message

Sofia Baby: Sorry that is a habit I didn't mean to say Love ya, sorry it is a habit well text me when you can😊

Maybe the kiss was a habit to maybe she doesn't love me at all.

Me: Congrats on the cheer team told you, you will make it. I hope you do become the caption to, mind if I come over to celebrate? I don't have to

I put my phone down, and went into the bathroom and fixed my hair, I decided to do it the way Sofia liked it, she liked it when I blow dried it and made it messy. I heared my phone go off so I went back into my room and looked to see that is was Sofia,

Me: hello
Sofia: hey
Me: what's up
Sofia: nothing just wanted to see if you still wanted to come over to celebrate?
Me: ya
Sofia: well my mom isn't home so it will be just me and you, be over in like 20 if that is ok?
Me: see ya in 20
Sofia: bye
Me: bye
Then I hung up, and put my phone down and went and brushed my teeth.
