reader is daryl's little sister
in season 5, carl & reader are 14 but carl is a few months older than reader
story starts at season 4 but daryl and his little sister, Y/N had been there since the beginning
(so pretty much carl and reader have been friends since they were like 10)
it's a slow burn, friends to lovers story... carl and reader don't get together til they're 16 (season 7)
negan has a soft spot for reader and carl, everyone who meets reader ends up loving being around her
she can be scary when she needs to be
enid hates reader at first but they end up becoming friends by like season 8, but when ron was getting jealous of carl cus he was spending time w enid - ron started flirting w reader and that makes carl jealous
or you could make the story abt the readers experience being in the apocalypse and as daryl's little sister then add in later carl&the readers slow burn relationship and make the story continue even into the spin offs
