Seiko smiled at the text as she sat up in her bed, stretching her arms. She got up and opened the curtains, smiling as the winter air filled her nose. "OKIE DOKIE! IM READY!"

Yuu walked in her room, rubbing his sleep deprived eyes. "Sis? Who are you talking to?" He asked.

She laughed. "Uh... Just myself..." She said, closing her window. "Guess what I'm going to do today?!"

Yuu giggled. "HM, I dunno, Sis. Tell me." He lied. He knew how much his sister had been wanting to do this, so why not let her bask in the glory of it all once more.

She laughed and jumped on her bed, patting a spot next to her. "Ok, here's how it's going to go down!"

"Good Luck, Sis!" Yuu called to her from the door. She looked back and waved, happily skipping off to her 'best friends' house.

She blew into her hands, in an effort to keep herself warm. "Eh... I hope it isn't to cold for this today. I mean, it is December after all. Ugh her birthday is at such a dick time of the year.

Seiko went over all of her plans as she attached the taller girls house. Naomi, of course, knew she was coming, so Seiko expected her to be ready when she got there. Seiko took added breath as she reached out to knock on Naomi's door.

Naomi opened the door dressed in her favorite winter jacket, purple scarf and blue jeans. Seiko smiled at the outfit she was so familiar with.

"Happy birthday, Naomi!" Seiko beamed as she gave her a hug. "Are you ready?!"

Naomi nodded. "Yep! I'm ready, Seiko. Bye Mom! We'll be back later!" Naomi proclaimed as she locked her front door. Seiko leeched onto Naomi's arm and pointed forwards. "AND WE'RE OFF!"

Naomi chucked and ruffled Seikos Hair. " You're such a dork."

"Mhm, yeah. Well I'm cute though!" She smiled, flashing a peace sign.

Naomi laughed again. "Of course Seiko!

"So, Naomi..." Seiko bit her lip lightly. "How's that whole 'I'm in love with Satoshi' thing going?"

Naomi shrugged. "I dunno... I guess I'm kinda over it. If Ayumi can get over it, I definitely can. It was puppy love. Nothing serious."

Seiko let out a sigh of relief. "Do you like have anyone else in mind?"

Naomi laughed. "What's with all the questions?"

"Hey, we're alone finally and I wanna talk to you, silly!" Seiko pouted.

"Well, I don't know... I might have someone in mind. What about you?" She asked the shorter girl.

"Uh. I dunno. I mean, you know I'm a lesbian and it's kinda hard. There aren't many girls in school I'm attracted to!" She lied. Obviously she was attracted to Naomi, but it wasn't time to tell her yet.

"Yeah, I guess it would be kind of hard. But I'm certain you'll find someone, you're everything anyone could want in a girl friend!"

Seiko blushed. "Awe, you're too sweet, Nammy!"

"Anyways, we're here! It's as beautiful as always..." Naomi stated in awe, sitting down by the water. She spread out a blanket and Seiko put down a couple of sandwiches and snacks for them.

"Oh my god, have I ever told you what a great cook you were, Seiko?" Naomi asked, enjoying the sandwich Seiko made for her.

Seiko grinned. "I'm so happy you like them! Seikos birthday foods are always the best. I also have to make the best for my Naomi! But, sadly I can't take all the credit. Yuu helped me with some too!"

Naomi smiled. She always admired how close Seiko was with her siblings. It made he wish she had a brother or sister to be close with. Seiko was kind of like a sister to her. But something about referring to her as a 'sister' didn't feel right.

"Aw, well tell Yuu I say thank you when you get home later!"

Seiko beamed. "Will do!" She laid back in the grass and looked up at the sky. "Hey, Naomi. what time is it?"

"Uh... 7:30! Wow has it really been that long already?"

Seiko giggled. "Well you know what they say! Time flies when you're in love- HAVING FUN." She quickly corrected herself, before Naomi could even notice. " I guess it's time for your present!"

"Oh, I told you you didn't need to get me something, Seiko!"

"Hush, you deserve like 1 million presents! Sadly, I could only afford one." Seiko scratched the back of her head.

Since her dad works 24/7, She doesn't have the time to go out and get a job for herself. She has to take care of her brothers and sister all by herself.

"It took me a long time to save up for it, but it was totally worth it for you, Naomi!" Seiko said, shooting her friend a peach sign.

Naomi outstretched her arms, which Seiko ran into, loving receiving hugs from Naomi. Seiko buried her head in Naomi's Chest.

"Ok, Seiko!" She said, prying her friend off of her. "That's enough!" She laughed.

Seiko giggled. "Heyy... Can I ask you something?" Seiko tilted her head slightly to the side. She was getting extremely impatient and needed to know if Naomi liked her or not. Seiko shifted in her spot on the blanket, silently waiting for a response.

"Hm? Seiko what is it?" Naomi could tell just by her friends body movements and posture that something was on her mind. She had a lump in her throat and no matter how many times she swallowed, it wouldn't go away. Why was she so nervous anyways? This was Seiko. Nothing to be nervous about here.

"Uh. I gotta ask you something... Like really important. So promise me you won't laugh or anything."

Naomi nodded her head, unable to say anything.

Seiko took a deep breath. "Uh... Naomi? Do you maybe... I don't know... Want to go out with me?" Seiko moved closer to her friend, awaiting her response.

Naomi smiled and poked her friend in the stomach. She felt as if she wasn't in control of her body. It all seemed natural to her. She did love her after all.

"Of course Seiko! I've kinda been waiting for you to ask."

Seiko's eyes lit up as she tackled Naomi to the ground. "I love you!!" She said as she hugged her best friend, well now girlfriend, tightly.

Naomi laughed. "Okay, okay! You're hurting me!" She said, still giggling a bit.

Seiko sat up proudly. "Yuu is going to be so proud of me!" She squealed.

Naomi just shook her head. "Alright you idiot, legs go back its getting late."

Seiko nodded and grabbed her hand. "Ah, I can't wait to tell everyone about us!"

Naomi gulped. "Yeah..."
