It was just an ordinary day or it started out that way. I was walking home from school. Normally someone picks me up but I know just to walk home if that doesn't happen. I was only 16 at the time and what greeted me at the door was enough to scar me for the rest of my life.
I walked in on my dad. He was hitting my twin brother, smacking innocent Charlie. Charlie of course was screaming through a gag and when I saw the big knife stuck in his chest my heart broke into millions of little pieces. I shoved dad off him, he was drunk so he was easily over powered. I got the phone and I called the ambulance but by the time they had got there Charlie was dead, my dad was gone and I was covered in blood. My brothers blood
My mum blames me and even to this day she just sits back and watches with an evil smirk on here face. She doesn't care, no one does. Whats the point in living anymore because even though the police said they know it wasn't me my family refuses to believe that dad(if I can even still call him that) would do something so vicious, so un humane. Apparently I'm just easier to put the blame on.
Two years on from the accident that took my other half, the family are worst than ever. Everyday they come home and beat me. My three older brothers that is. No one at school knows. How could you tell them you get abuse every time you walk in the door. How can you tell your friends that the 3 previous kings of the school are monsters. Yeah that's right even though it's my senior year those boys run the school. The oldest john left 3 three years ago and people still look up to him. If only they new he was a washed up jock who beats up people for fun. He's definitely not my role model anymore.
I'm alone with no one to protect me and know one to help me. Could I tell someone?
No! They wouldn't believe me. Everyone has a monster inside of them, some are just more prominent than others and my brothers lay underneath a cover of charming smiles and cocky attitudes.
