For the next few days Eragon prepared for his journey still having the vision nagging in the back of his mind. Eragon was repairing Saphira's saddle and double checking it's straps when a elf came up to him. He bowed and said "Argetlman Blodhgarm has asked for you in the main cabin." "Thank you I will be there in a moment" Eragon then picked up the saddle and stored it in the hold before making his way to the main cabin. He pushed open the door and walked inside to see Blodhgarm standing next to the main table. "Blodhgarm what is it that you need" when he turned Eragon could see a Eldunari on the table.

"This is what we wanted to show you we have managed to save one of the Eldunari. Eragon didn't know what to do so he walked up to the Eldunari and slowly melted into it's mind. He couldn't feel but a sliver of the dragon that was inside but he could feel that it was at peace and resting. As he extracted himself he turned to Blodhgarm "is this the only one we have helped" "yes Argetlman it is the only one." "Well this is amazing this means that we can help them." Eragon said and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding sense they left Alagaësia.

He nodded before turning back around as Eragon exited and closed the door behind him. "Saphira" "yes little one" "it would be time to go" even though he she didn't say anything he could still feel her excitement. Eragon then met her on the deck before he put on her saddle and made sure he had everything he would need. Eragon then strapped himself in before looking back on the deck to elves watching him he slowly turned back around "Saphira lets go." and before he could finish that statement she launched into the air and he could feel the air through his hair and against his face.

As Talita disappeared behind them Saphira began to swoop and dive in intricate patterns before she plummeted straight down. As Eargon howled with laughter till she suddenly spread her wings out and caught the air and using it to shoot her back up. As they leveled back out he collapsed forward and hugged her neck letting his wind bitten cheek lay against it. He layed there as his heart rate went back down "I don't know why we didn't do this more Saphira." He said as he looked out to the horizon of the flat plains of the eastern reaches and thought of the vision.  He wondered what it might be but the thing that nagged him the most was the figure that was running away covered in smoke.

Eragon stayed silent thinking on this as they flew "what is it that's confusing you so much" she asked him. "It's not confusing as much as it is... wondering" he said not evening knowing himself if it was the truth. They soon landed as it turned dark and Eragon ate dinner as he sat against Saphira before curling around him.

This process was soon repeated for a week long Eragon was practicing on a tree when he felt something. He sheathed  Brisingr and slowly turned his head looking around "Saphira Glaedr did you feel that." "yes we did" Gleadr said Eragon tried to feel out to where it might be he felt Gleadr doing the same. As he was kneeling down he started feeling a nagging sensation the began to get stronger till he could no longer ignore it. He opened his eye's and turned to where it was coming from he saw in the direction was a forest and wondered what to do.

"Gleadr there's something pulling me to the forest" "yes I think that we feel it to."  They all stayed there in silence for a few moment's before Eragon said " I'm going to go through the forest and try to find what it is" as he walked back to them. Saphira let a low growling sound out at it before Eragon put his hand on her head and looked her in the eyes. "I will be fine" she made a sound that he associated with her disagreeing "might as well as just give me a stink eye."

"Just follow me from above then you can come save me if I'm in trouble." He looked at her one more time before he pulled out some of his armor from her saddle bag and strapping it on. He then walked to the edge of the forest before looking back at Saphira and walking in. He started  in slowly looking in his hand near the hilt of Brisingr as he kept walking in the tree's got bigger and closer together. He could no longer see through the canopy and he could feel Saphira's growing discomfort that he shared with her. As he walked through he began to smell something, he couldn't tell what it was only that it smelt burnt.
