"Mom, you don't have to come with Jimmy and I. We'll be fine." I said trying to talk my mom out of taking me to my first day of college. "I wanna go. Its my baby's first day if college. Plus, you think I will leave you and your boyfriend of two years and four years older than you, alone in a plane? Yeah right." "Mom, you know I'm a virgin, you have nothing to worry about. Just please don't come with us." I pleaded my mom. "Fine. But, I expect you to stay a virgin from the 2 hour plane ride." My mom said. "Oh my god mom! Are you serious? We've already had this talk and everything between. I get it." What my mom doesn't know, is I plan on losing my virginity while I'm at college. Too bad. She always thinks I'm a good girl, yeah I get good grades and shit, but I cuss, smoke cigarettes, smoke weed, drink. The only thing I haven't done is have any kind of sex. Not even with Jimmy and we've been together two years, and known each other since I was 10.
"Earth to Beth.... Jimmys here to pick you up." My mom said. I nodded. "Bye mom. I'll miss you. I'll call you every two weeks on Monday, okay?" She nodded and hugged me, "Jimmy can you grab her bags?" He nodded and walked upstairs. "Beth, I'll miss you. You focus on school and get the heck out of there and find a family. I love you and be careful." I nodded and walked out of the house with Jimmy right behind me.
He sat my stuff in the back if his truck and jumped in the driver seat. "Are you ready?" He asked. "More than you'll ever know." He laughed.
We got to the airport and got on the plane to Washington. When we finally landed and got to campus, he walked me to my dorm room. "This is me." I opened the door, and the room was filled with smoke, and smelt like weed. "Hey. You must be Beth Greene my new roommate. I'm Steph." "Yeah that's me. It smells Damn good in here." I said. "Do you smoke?" She asked me. "Hell yeah. Jimmy you can leave since you don't. Love you, bye." I grabbed my stuff from his hands, kissed him on the cheek and pushed him out of the door.
