Chapter Two : New Family

P.O.V:???
'Uhhh my head is spinning a bit' I thought while rubbing my my eyes with my hands. 'Wait why are my hands so chubby did they put me into a baby's body when transmigrating me!?' I said shocked at the information that I just discovered.'Okay well atleast I am a baby and my behavior changes won't be noticeable because well I am a baby and babies don't really have a personality for me to change'. Suddenly a headache started and I started seeing started see multiple memories, I quickly started paying attention to it so I could understand what I was seeing. After like twenty minutes it stopped and I sighed and started thinking on what I know from the memories. ' So I am currently one year and eight month old. My new name name is Yaori Miko and I am a princess of the Elemental kingdom from the game that I hated but still played and then read the novel sequel to see if any of the lore would change to a better side but nope it made slight turns here and there but never truly changed to the better. Okay so right now I have two caring parents and also a maid whose name is Clara and is like family. My problem is that I will be engaged to the male lead who is also the crown prince of another country. I never liked him. He was always a manipulative asshole, who always manipulated the main female lead into doing as he says, in the game it didn't let me choose anything that didn't comply with his wishes in the end. Maybe I can teach her how to protect herself without the prince and she will never feel burdened with owing him something like in the original story. Okay that's a thing that I will only be able to do when I will go to  not now. I think that what I will be doing now is just spending time with my family and learning things to survive. Maybe I can even travel around this world. I couldn't do it in my first life because of money problems but now I am a princess that means that will easily be able to travel around. I don't want to always use my parent's money so I will probably make myself a business when I will get older.'
"Oh princess you are awake let me just go and wash you up so you can go and eat breakfast now. Today her majesty wants to have a walk with you in the garden she hasn't seen you in about a few weeks now." My maid Clara said.
After she gave me a bath which was a bit embarrassing but also needed because I can't wash up myself at this age, she put a light blue dress and a little bow on me. I went and had breakfast which included a but of scrambled eggs and some various fruit. We went to the garden and there I saw my mother looking at some red roses.
" The roses are very beautiful aren't they Clara. They bloomed just yesterday. "
" Yes they are very pretty. Just like princess Yaori today the dress you picked for her fitted her a lot " said Clara in return.
I blushed a bit at the words and turned away. But immediately after started making grabby hands at my mother so she would pick me up.
" Oh you want me to pick you up today, but  you are usually scared of me? "
' Yes and that is why I want to make it up to you ' I though while stretching my hands out to her even more to show that I want her to pick me up.
" Okay fine come here " she said.
" Your majesty are you sure " asked Clara with a worried voice.
" Well if she wants me to pick her up I don't see a reason why not to. Now give her to me " answered the while walking to Clara and taking me into her hands.
" Now are you happy " she asked me with a serious face that she didn't drop since I got there.
I giggled a bit at her expression, nodded and hugged her afterwards.
" Huh well this is nice I guess " she said with a small smile almost slipping up on her face, " You can go now I will bring her over when it will be lunch time "
"Yes your majesty " as she suddenly poofed into thin air.
After that happened I started pointing to one of the flower bushes with the red roses on them.
" Hmm? Oh you want to touch the roses. " She said " here you go just try not to prick your fingers on the thorns even if there are only a few left after the gardener cut almost all of them, okay? " and knelt down and put me one the ground.
" Mhm " I said and quickly started to look for the prettiest rose in the bush. After five minutes I finally found a really pretty one and tore it away from it's stem. I turned around and pulled at her skirt and  started to make grabby hands again to show her a sign to grab me up again.
" Hmm? Are you done looking at them? Huh, what is that in your hands? " She said while picking me up.
I put the flower on to her ear and said " Pretty "
She smiled at me with a sincere one this time and said " Thank you Yaori you are also pretty "
That made me smile and after that we went for a walk. Because of how big the garden was we walked in there until lunchtime. She picked me up when she saw that I was getting tired. That made me somewhat happy that she cared. We went back in the castle and she gave me to Clara while going away and into a room which I presumed was the her office, and she just went back to work.
As the days went past me and mom got even closer. Sometimes I miss my parents from my first life. I will always be grateful for everything that they have done for me I hope that they ended up in heaven. My mom’s last wish was for me to grow up well, healthy and happy and even though I didn’t fully achieve that goal in that life I will try to achieve it in this one. When I was alone and left with only my toys while Clara went to another room I took a pencil, some paper and began drawing. I had a hard time holding a pencil and after a few tries I was finally able to hold it properly I started drawing flowers and trees. I wanted to give Clara and mom a drawing with us so I started concentrating really hard and after like twenty minutes had finally drawn three good picture. One where I am with mom in the garden with a lot of colorful flowers around us and in the second one a similar where me and Clara sat under a tree this one was the hardest because I was drawing us in a sitting position. The third one had all of us together in a flower field. After drawing I took some colored pencils and started coloring everything there were some crayons near me but I didn’t want to use them because I was afraid that I would mess up and ruin the pictures with how hard it was for me to use a pencil a crayon was much thicker and was even harder to be able to hold in the right angled. After another twenty long minutes I finally finished ‘  I hope that mom and Clara will like it ‘ just as I thought about that Clara came in and saw me hold the pictures in my hands. I quickly hid them behind my back, I was lucky to have them all already stacked together, so I don’t think that she had seen them properly. I want to show all the pictures to them when we will be together all in one room so I would get both of their reactions at the same.

“ Hmm? What are you hiding Yaori ? ” she asked.

“ I wanna show them to you and mama at the same time can we visit her wite now? ” I asked with my puppy face mode on and still not improved pronunciation.

She sighed and then answered “ Okay fine, we can try and visit her. It’s already four o’clock so you will need to go to sleep right after okay?” she said while picking me up.
As it turns out mom's office was just at the end of the hall near my room. As soon as we came close to it I started thinking that maybe it was a bad idea and it was a waste of time, but my thoughts of that were interrupted when I heard mom's voice telling us to come in.
" Is something wrong? " She asked.
" No, it's just miss Yaori has drawn a few pictures and wants to show them to you. She wouldn't let me look unless we looked at it together. I am sorry if we disturbed you."
" No it's fine I wonder what you have drawn to want me and Clara to see? Come on sit on my lap and you can show us, okay? " She said with a calming voice, which I think she used because she saw how nervous I was.
I sat on her lap and started showing the pictures that I drew, " This is me and mommy in the garden. And this is me and Clara sitting under a tree. The wast one is of all of us in a pretty flower field. " I said explained while switching from showing one picture to another.
And then I saw moms and Clara's eyes started having little tear drops in their eyes. " Is it that bad? " I asked worriedly.
" No no it's very pretty I will even put it in my office " said mom while patting my head.
" But why did you add me into your pictures miss? " asked Clara.
" Well I think of you like my older sister so I thought that you would like it if I drew us together " I said with a little bit of a sad note in my voice.
" I love it miss I just didn't think that you saw me in that way. I will also put your drawing in my room. " She said quickly. " But now we need to go to bed don't we now? " she added.
" Okay I always keep my promise now let's go. " I said. " I have to go now mom I will see you tomorrow okay "
" Okay now go with Clara I also need to finish my work " she said while standing up with me in her hands and going to the door.
After she gave me to Clara we went away and Clara put in a my bed, and just like that I went to sleep with a smile in my face.
