Link had managed to make his way to Skyview Temple and slowly made himself a way through monsters and searching keys for locked doors, traveling back to Skyloft to buy new potions or a new shield if the old one had shattered, till he finally reached a big door where his sword spirit Fi told him that she could sense his childhood friend Zelda, but also a strong evil presence behind it. After Link had managed to insert the strange shaped key to the door, he entered the room with the happy thought of seeing Zelda again, and definitely not aware of what, or better who was awaiting him.
