Ghirahim eyed the hero with caution. He knew the boy was a quite good swordsman, even with not being at his full potential yet. Link circled the demon that has no weapon to fight, which quite disappointed the Skyloftian. He swung his sword to hit his foe, but to his horror Ghirahim caught his sword between only to fingers. The demon lord smiled. The boy was awfully forward. But he was quite glad about this; he hoped that he wouldn't have to fight the child with his full force. Ghirahim could feel the hero trying to rip the sword out of his grasp, but he didn't let him. Instead of that, he snatched the sword away from the chosen. It burned in his hands, his counterpart Fi was obviously trying to hurt him. "Hah, quite the sword you have here. But as long as you telegraph your attacks like the novice you are, you'll never land a blow." Link stared at the demon shocked and backed away, out of his reach. He didn't know what the demon was able to do. Ghirahim grinned and threw the sword at the boy, who could have easily dodged the sword or block it with his shield, but he wasn't aware of what the demon lord would do. And so the sword flew through the air, pierced the boy through his left shoulder and pinned him to the wall. Link screamed in agony and Ghirahim realized what he just did. The Skyloftian hung from the wall he was pinned to with his own sword, and he was bleeding strongly. Ghirahim knew that if he didn't do something, the boy would die. He didn't care about what the boy would think of him later on, for now he just wanted to save him. He ran towards Link, pulled the sword out of his shoulder and caught him in his arms. "You won't die now. You hear me?" The hero looked at Ghirahim with a tired and scared look in his once light-filled eyes. The demon sword summoned the heart container he knew the hero would've got if he'd have beaten him. What he obviously didn't. The demon gently placed the heart container on the chest of the now unconscious boy and watched how it was absorbed and the boy's eyes slowly fluttered open. Ghirahim stood up and turned around. "Until the next time, hero." The demon raised his arm to snap his fingers. "Wait, why did you..." He teleported away.

Ghirahim appeared at his domain in Faron Woods. He leaned against a wall and slid down to the floor. Crying. Because he nearly killed the child. And his thoughts were killing him. 'I can't do this, I can't do this. I won't kill him, I can't do this...' As soon as the demon lord thought this, a stinging pain appeared in his head. And he heard the voice of the Master he hated. 'Why did you save him? You were doing so well. It's a pity that you have emotions, but don't you dare to disobey me! You WILL kill the chosen hero and you WILL revive me! THESE ARE ORDERS! I will rule the world and you will obey me! Understood, sword?' The sword spirit buried his face in his hands. "Yes, Master." was all he could say with a barely audible whisper. The pain in his head left, but his heart was shattered. Again. He couldn't even try to disobey, or his Master Demise would force him to fulfil orders like this. Orders which are completely against the demon's own will. He was a sword, created to serve a Master, he wasn't allowed to have a will or to be emotional. Yet he was the complete difference of that. His current Master will never break his will.
