GEORGIE'S POV

"Oh god here we go again" I think to myself as I hit my alarm. It's the first day of my last year in school and I can honestly not be bothered. Lets see what good things this year brings. Haha good one Georgie. Good things my arse. Anyway, I get myself ready for school and go downstairs to eat some breakfast. My mum is already down there. "Hey Georgie, looking forward to your last year in school?" She says in her somehow always enthusiastic voice. "No, not really." I reply. I eat my breakfast and then grab my keys and bag and walk to school.

When I get to school I meet with my friends Maddie, Rose and Jade. "Heeeyyyyyy Georgie!" Rose shouted. She was definitely the loudest of the group. The others followed and we talked about what we had done in our summer and shit like that.
We got into registration and sat in our places when there was a knock on the door. Our headteacher came in with a group of 4 new boys. Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis. I could already see that Rose liked Niall. He was quite good looking with blonde hair and blue eyes. he found himself an empty place and sat down. Liam was muscular with brown hair styled into a quiff and brown eyes. Then Harry. He was taller than the rest of the boys and had brown curly hair that was at shoulder length and green eyes . He went and sat next to Maddie who went as stiff as wood. She was the most awkward out of all of us, especially around boys. Finally, there was Louis. For some reason I could take my eyes of him. He had messy brown hair that was swept over to 1 side and icy blue eyes that had quite an innocent look to them. He was a lot smaller than the others which I for some reason, found cute.

Unfortunately, the only place left was right next to fucking me. Great. Just great. As he sat next to me he gave me a cheeky smile. "Hello, I'm Louis. Nice to meet you." "Hi?" I awkwardly replied. Just as the headteacher was about to leave, he said "Georgie, you and your friends will be showing the boys round with you today. Make them feel as welcome and as safe as possible." What? Noooo this can't be happening. I have to spend my day with them. I could be doing so many other things apart from this. Brilliant. "So then Georgie, how do you make people feel welcome in this school then?" Louis said with a cocky smile. God help me if I have to spend the rest of the day with him.

After me and my friends had shown the new boys round our run down school, we went to get lunch. As I sat down, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Louis. Can't he see I'm eating. Don't interrupt me while I'm eating God. Well, he's new so he doesn't know this stuff. "Hey, Georgie!" He said sweetly. Rose was of with Niall on a different table and god knows where Maddie and Jade were. "Hey Louis," I said "can I help you with something?" "Well, I don't know where the boys are and I only really know you so I thought I would come and sit with you to get to know you." "Oh, that's cool" I replied trying to sound enthusiastic. "Well, what did you want to know?" Louis looked at me while thinking, his little hands fiddling with a packet of crisp. "What is your full name and when is your birthday. Just so I know a bit more about you in general." I thought to myself why does he have to be so cute. Ew no. I don't like Louis what am I thinking. "Well my full name is Georgia Alice Townsend and my birthday is the 15th April 1998. You?" The blue eyed boy replied with "Louis William Tomlinson," Tomlinson? That name seemed to ring a bell. "... 24th December 1997." "Haha Christmas Eve. What a great early present!" I chuckled sarcastically. Louis looked down and smiled. He was so adora- wait, what am I saying? He's only been in this school for less than a day and I'm falling for him . As if.

Nothing much happened that afternoon and before I knew it it was time to get out of this dump. I said goodbye to my friends and walked home. That was until I saw Louis Tomlinson running towards me. "Hey Georgie, mind if I walk home with you?" I didn't really want him to but oh well why not "sure Louis" I said cheerfully.

On the way home we just talked about his old school, my family and his and we gave each other our phone numbers. We reached where Louis had to turn. Only round the corner from my house. "Bye Georgie, see you tomorrow sweat pea" he said as he winked and smiled. Sweat pea? Really? I laughed to myself and continued walking.

When I got home I ate my tea, did some studying, watched some Netflix in bed and by 9:00 pm I was fast asleep. Today had been a long day with meeting new people and for some reason, I kind of liked Louis. Anyway, let's see what tomorrow brings for me.
