Chapter 2

GEORGIE'S POV

The next morning I woke up and checked my phone.
Louis: Morning sweat pea, how are you ;)
Me: Great until you called me sweet pea haha
Louis: Haha see you in school later Georgie :)
Great. I've got to spend the rest of my day next to Louis Tomlinson. Fuck you alphabetical seating.

LOUIS POV

"Louis come on or we're going to be late." shouted Liam. "Coming" I shouted down the stairs.
"So then Niall, how's things with Rose?" Asked Harry nudging him with his elbow. "Fine thank you actually. She's really nice. How about you guys, seen any girls you like?" "I kind of like Maddie but I don't think she likes me back." said Liam sadly "Cheer up Liam," said Harry "... I think that Jade is sweet. Louis?" Oh shit. I don't know if I like her or not. I think I'm going to need to get to know her more first. "No, no ones caught my eye yet." I said quickly. Hope it didn't look to suspicious.

When we got to school, Niall walked straight over to Rose. My eyes instantly met with a pair of dark hazel ones. Georgie. I walked over to her and greeted her with my normal 'hello sweet pea' and a smile. She just smiled back sarcastically.

When registration had finished, It was time for first lesson. Geography. God I hate geography. I looked around to see if anyone I knew was in my class but unfortunately there wasn't.

I think I saw Liam and Georgie go into class together. I hope he doesn't say anything about that thing to her.

GEORGIE'S POV

I walked to school and met with Maddie and Jade while Rose was yet again, off with Niall. God that girl was attracted easily. I saw Louis through the crowds of school kids and he saw me looking. Shit. He just laughed and started walked towards me. Brilliant. "Well hello there, Georgie fancy seeing you here!" he said with a smirk. "Very funny Louis because it's not at all likely to see my fellow pupil in school is it now?" I replied while smiling. Liam shouted him and he quickly said goodbye and winked with his sparkly blue eyes. After our brief conversation, Rose met up with us and we walked into registration together.

As I walked into class and sat in my usual seat, I noticed that Louis wasn't in this class. That's good I thought to myself. After about 5 minutes of the teacher blabbing on, she told us to get into pairs. I could see Liam standing on his own so I walked over to him and partnered up with him. I hadn't really talked to Liam, so now was a great time. "Hey Liam. How are you finding your new school?" "Great. I really like it here." He likes it her? Erm ok then. "I see that you and Louis have been talking a lot lately. What do you think of him?" I stopped. I could just see his eyes and his little dimple in my mind. Woah what are you doing. Snap out of it."I think he's cool. Quite funny and quite good looking if I do say so myself." "Glad that you like him and all but just be careful around him. You never know what trouble people have been in in the past and how that trouble can come back to haunt them and the people who become close to them. Louis isn't the most innocent of people. Lets just say that. So just be careful around him. Ok?" He said that last bit with a stern voice but keeping calm face. What does he mean trouble in the past? He can't just leave me on a cliff hangar like that what the fuck? I would rather just get to know people fully myself rather than hearing about his past from Liam Payne but he was probably only trying to help me. "Thanks for letting me know that Liam" I replied. "Anyway, what are we supposed to be doing?"

After that lesson it was break and I sat down with my friends and told them what happened. "Niall hasn't mentioned anything to me about him, so maybe it's only Liam that knows?" Said Rose with a confused face "Harry hasn't said anyt- never mind." mumbled Jade. We all looked at her with a kind of 'sorry what was that?' Kind of look. "Something you want to tell us Jade?" I asked her. "Fine. I've been hanging out with one of the new boys Harry a lot after school God what's wrong with that he's really nice and funny leave me alone for fucks sake." She got up and walked away and we all just laughed at the poor child. "Someone's found themselves a new frienddddd" Maddie teased. I've never seen her so in love with somebody before hahaha.

After that lunch ended. The thing that Liam has said earlier was still at the back of my mind though.

The lesson after lunch was the most boring thing ever, Art, so nothing interesting happened in that apart from Rose doing her normal flirting with Niall and, from what I could see, him doing it back. Sometimes they make me feel physically ill. After that we had History and before we went into class I could see Louis and Liam talking to eachother and it looked pretty fucking serious. Eh never mind. I walked in the class room and sat down at the back on my own, hoping to stay on my own for this lesson at least. But that didn't happen; Louis Tomlinson came and sat next to me. As he did he looked at me with his little innocent face but I could see Liam looking at me from over his shoulder. Great. Now I can't say anything about it to him.

LOUIS POV

"Liam! Why the fuck did you have to go and say that? The girl is going to be asking enough questions as it is!" I angrily whispered to him. "Sorry! I just want her to be careful so that if you do get closer to each other than she won't get hurt if you run back into trouble again." He said sounding a lot more caring than it looked. "Oh ok. Thanks and I will make sure that she doesn't get hurt. She's too valuable to me for her to get hurt." Liam sighed and walked away. God he annoys me sometimes.

I walked into class and saw Georgie sitting at the back of the class on her own. I went over and sat in the seat next to her, even though she didn't look too happy about it. "Hello Georgie." I said to her with a smile "hey, Louis" she sounded like there was something on her mind. I will try to cheer her up.

As it was our first lesson of the year, we didn't really have to do much thinking so I found this a great time to talk to Georgie. "If there's something on your mind, you can tell me you know. I will listen to whatever you want to say" she looked at me straight in the eye. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of hazel, like I'd never seen before. "If someone had said something to you about somebody else's past," she said with slight hesitation "...would you let it change the way you thought about them now or keep it in the past?" This question was obviously about me and what Liam had said to her but I tried not to show that I was angry at him. "No, I wouldn't sweat pea because that's in the past now. It's all about what's waiting to come in the future." She seemed to look a bit better after I'd said this so hopefully we had cleared it up.

GEORGIE'S POV

After I had asked Louis that question, the tension seemed to ease. I liked how calm he took it and how concerned he looked.

After History and the last lesson, it was time to get out of this dump. I walked home with Louis and we didn't really talk about anything important until it was time louis to turn. He stopped, looked into my eyes and took hold of my hands in his "If you ever want to talk to me about anything Georgie, I'm here. Ok?" he asked me while squeezing my hands even more "yes Louis thank you" I replied with a smile. He let go of my hands and I walked home. Something was wrong with him today. There was something that he was hiding. I will get to the bottom of it.
When I got home, I went straight to bed after I'd had my tea as I felt a bit overwhelmed.

Whatsapp group chat

Me: Hey guys, did any of the boys say anything to you today? About Louis?
Rose: I asked Niall about him and he said just not to worry about it because it's all over.
Jade: Harry just said that he didn't no much but what he did know wasn't important anymore.
Me: Oh. Well thanks for asking them anyway guys.
Maddie: I haven't heard anything from anyone haha.
Me: ok mad ok. Night guys

Text from Louis
Night night Georgie. Can't wait to see your face tomorrow ;)

I didn't even reply as I couldn't be bothered. Today had been extremely confusing and I just wanted to sleep.
