After waiting impatiently for night to fall, Morgana waited a reasonable amount of time when she thought everyone would be asleep. Then she picked out her purple cloak and slipped from her chambers. There was no moon that night, so it was easier for her to weave through the castle, knowing she blended in with the shadows.

Very soon, she reached the edge of the Darkling Woods, and only then did Morgana put down her hood. She smiled as normally she would be meeting Morgause. Tonight, she was here for another reason, even though she was still meeting another of her kind.

Uther was so stupid for thinking the Great purge had achieved what he’d wanted. If anything, he’d created more and more enemies. “Well, I did warn him once.” She thought.

“Morgana?” A voice came from the trees.

“Yes.” She replied, seeing Isabel stood there. “I’m alone, Isabel.”

Isabel came out and stood in front of Morgana. She smiled at her. “I’m glad you could make it tonight. Although, I don’t know if you’ll be glad soon.”

Morgana frowned at her, knowing she still wasn’t making any sense, just like at the market that morning. She could feel Isabel’s magic slightly, and she could feel there was something familiar about her. The same energy as that morning, but Morgana now knew that was her magic.

“You still haven’t worked it out, my Lady?” Isabel asked sounding slightly amused. “I have the Seer’s Power...just like you do.”

This was a shock to Morgana. “Do you get bad visions then? Morgause gave me a healing bracelet once, and I still wear it. It helps with them.”

“I used to need help, until my powers got stronger. Now I don’t really have trouble with that. But sometimes I get visions.” Isabel paused and looked at Morgana. “You were in the one I had last week!”

    “Me?”

Isabel nodded. “It’s why I came to Camelot.” She sighed. “Oh, Morgana, things can be different! There can be other ways!”

Morgana was suddenly reminded of Merlin’s words the other week and she glared at Isabel. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“The things I saw were of you, Morgana, of everyone in Camelot, of everything that will happen in the next few years concerning you. I knew I shouldn’t ignore it. Last time I did that someone I cared about got killed.”

There was a short silence. “What did you see?” Morgana asked, more cautiously this time. She remembered some of her previous ‘dreams’ and shivered. Having the Seer’s Power wasn’t always a good thing.

“Well, to start off with, you become Queen of Camelot twice.”

    “What? How?” Morgana interrupted.

Isabel shook her head and shrugged. “I don’t know, but that’s what I saw. Secondly, you kill Uther, turn against Arthur and Gwen, and cause a lot of trouble for Camelot. Apparently, you won’t be living in Camelot much longer, my Lady.”

“I don’t care about that! Camelot means nothing to me now! Uther’s death shouldn’t be in the future though. It should already have happened!” Then she frowned. “Arthur and Gwen? Gwen? She’s never done anything bad to me! Arthur’s the next King of Camelot, of course, but I shouldn’t hate him unless he doesn’t bring magic back to Camelot.”

Isabel laughed. “I doubt that will ever happen! Hasn’t Uther always taught him not to trust magic and sorcery?”

Morgana nodded and sighed. “Arthur needs to have a mind of his own and not be like his father! Especially not when he’s King.”
