Chapter 5

~Niall's POV~

The girl. Her. When I walked in and she told me her name I was shocked. She was my best friend. And always has been.. I dream about her every night, I missed her so much words couldn't describe. Mickey and me mum were talking and I had no idea what about. Just sounded like it was bad. Her getting burned and shot just didn't sound good, when she told me she got shot in the wrist I knew the bullet was still in her wrist. I had to get help. I started running to go to my car but I stopped and was wondering if I went and got help if something ad would happen. Like if she would get arrested or someone she loved. So I went back and asked her.

"Can I call the police and medics. Maybe just go to the hospital?"

Her eyes just grew

"NO! No you cant"

"How are you going to get the bullet out?!"

She pulled out her wrist and just stared at it trying to figure out a away. She looked up at me and said

"You got a knife?"  

Then... My eyes got wide. Why would she make it the worst and most painful way?!

"Ummm not for your reason. Why can't I take you to the hospital?"

Just at me saying 'hospital' she got all scared

" please tell me you aren't afraid of..." 

I couldn't even finish!

" don't you dare even say it. I would rather die than go to... To.... To you know!"  

" why do you hate them so much?" 

Tears started filling in her eyes and I knew I regretted it. So I quickly changed the subject before she could answer my question. 

"Then how do you really want to get the bullet out?"

"The same way I thought if before with the knife. You have to dig it out."

I can't! I just can't that's so gross I can't do that!!

"Ummm I cant. " 

"Why not? I can handle the pain I got burned I'm pretty sure I can handle this."

Ugh! I have to but I cant! I cant!

"Fine but I will freak out more than you will."

~Mickey's POV~

He went and got a knife an Maura was freaking out telling Niall he can't do this that they have to bring me to... You know... But i wouldn't let them never ever ever. Niall then came back with a knife and a towel, I didn't move off the couch and they didn't make me. Maura held my hand so I could squeeze it and got me something to bite down on.

"Are you ready?" Niall asked shaky and concerned.

I nodded and surprisingly kept my eyes open, So I could prepare myself.  

Niall looked at Maura and gave her the 'I'm so scared' look. She looked at him then closed her eyes so she didn't have to look. He slowly and carefully put the knife to my wrist and opened around the bullet. Pain shot through my whole arm and I couldn't help but scream into the cloth in my mouth I squeezed Maura's hand and squeezed my eyes shot while my neck was full if my vain's popping through. Niall was taken back with my movement and gave me a look of sympathy.

I motioned him to keep going and he proceeded. Even more shaken he found the bullet, he pulled it out with tweezers and that hurt even more than before. This time he didn't stop, he kept moving tears starting to come into his eyes and running down his cheeks. As for me I was a wreck... Tears poring down my face blood dripping from my wrist, black and blues all over my body, scraped and scars, my burns, sweat on my forehead, just a mess.

"IT'S OUT!"

I turn to see Niall with a smile on his face but tears still streaming down his face. I would comfort him but I can't move.  

"Thank y-you" I said between sobs. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Now clam down while I do the same and I will wrap your wrist. And dis-infect which will burn so I'm sorry. Again." He was about to leave but then quickly turned around and said 

"Oh and don't you EVER make me do that agin."  

" I won't I promise." I said with a smile at the end.
