Heart Beat (niall love story)

chapter 6

I am so sorry I haven't updated in like a year I forgot my password and stuff but I'm all good now :)

While Niall was gone I looked around the bathroom and took in everything my eyes landed on. Their bathroom wasn't exciting, just an everyday bathroom with a white sink and a white creamy color tub, the shower curtain had little fishes scattered all over the blue sheet the walls were a baby blue and the trim was a hint darker than the actual walls. I was brought out of my thoughts by a light knock on the door, Niall popped his head through a small crack in the door that he created.

"I got the disinfectant and some cloth stuff to wrap your hand." His cheeks turned a hint of pink not like he was blushing.

I smiled at his choice of words to describe the gauze.

" Do you mean gauze?" He smiled and did a little laugh.

"Yeah that stuff."

He bent down and picked his head up to look at me in the eyes.

" I'm sorry in advance cause it's gonna  hurt."

" Its okay there isn't anything you can do about it."

He gently grabs my hand and holds it over a bowl, he dumps the peroxide over my damages and bleeding hand. I suck in air as if I haven't taken a breath in a week. It starts bubbling like it's suppose to , it doesn't hurt as much so I open my eyes to come in contact with his mop of brown rooted dirty blonde hair. He had a nice set of hair actually, he must have died it because he was a natural brunet when we were younger. I heard the sound of paper being ripped so I look at his hands and realize he was now wrapping my hand with gauze and tape. He patted my knee and got up then walked out of the bathroom leaving me on the ground holding my damaged wrist. I didn't want to just sit there so I decided to get up and go the same way Niall walked out, straight ahead was the kitchen with Niall talking to his mum. both there backs to me.

"She's all bandaged up. I also cleaned it out."

"Did you just leave her there?"

"Yea but she's standing in the doorway listening to us."

Maura turned around and had a smile on her face

" Hey honey how are you feeling?"

"Good a bit sore." I said with a half smile. how did Niall know I was in the door way?

"I can fix that," Maura said walking past me getting a very strong wiff of her perfume.

Niall is leaning up against the island with a smirk on his face. Where did he get all this cockiness from in the past 5 minutes?!  Just before he left the bathroom he was being really shy. And I still want to know how he knew I was standing in the doorway! They couldn't of been able to see me, I was staring at there backs!

"How-"

" Here you go darlin' Maura said to me as she placed two tablets in my hand and offered me water with them?

 " Not thank you, I can take them dry." She gave me a shy smile and turned around as I popped in the pills knowing they were for my pain.

Niall was still turned around with a smirk on his face when Maura lifted her arm and smacked him in the head. His grin turned into a smile and he let out a little laugh.

"Ow, what was that for?"

"Watch it Ni."

Maura looked up from her book with papers surrounding it and walked to the doorway that I still haven't moved from.

" A lot has changed in ten years." she whispered to me. I looked at her puzzled but she kept walking.

I turned back to Niall to find him now on the couch with a bag of potato chips, which Is weird I didn't even hear him move. He looked up at me and smiled with a face stuffed with chips.

" Want to watch a movie?" he said after swallowing his food.

"Sure but I have a question." he never looked up but got up and went to a shelf with a bunch of movies on them.

" How did you know I was in the doorway? Your backs were facing me." 

He stopped what he was doing and just said it was a lucky guess which I knew was bullshit but I went along with it.

" What movie do you want to watch." you could hint a but of annoyance in his voice.

he turns around and his eyes pop out of his head.

"RUN!" he yelled and when he did I ran out the side door and into the woods. You may be asking why I didn't stop, well, because I heard a gun shot as soon as I turned the corner to the door.
