Chapter 5: An Awkward Morning

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, lighting the room where both Tighnari and Cyno are sleeping in.

The fennec hugs his tail while the jackal is hugging him softly from behind. Tighnari's phone rang and he quickly woke up from his lovely rest.

' Urgh! Who called in the early in the morning?! I was having a good sleep ' Tighnari forgot about the man on his bed and quickly take the call.

" Hello? "

" Tighnari? I just noticed that you aren't home, so I hope you are doing fine. Where are you now? Do you need me to get you? ", Albedo talking from the other line.

" Uh, about that... " then Cyno quickly snatch his phone and answer Albedo.

" He's on my bed, so don't worry much man. We'll be at the campus on 8AM, so don't worry about it "

" AYO?! TIGHNARI GETTING LAI— " and Cyno hangs the phone.

" Don't worry about it, I can give you a ride to the campus. We'll have breakfast first, then straight to the academia ", Cyno then walk out the room. " I'll use the shower first, you can choose a pair of my clothes in my room, take whatever you want. I bet you look cute in any of them " he winked and left.

' What the hell with this man?! I just met him last night and why is he treating me like a real boyfriend? '

Tighnari then walk out his room and open the big closet. Awed, he then look at each one of the shirt.

' Omg, this man is rich, rich. Look at all of those hoodie.... Oooo! This one looks nice! ', Tighnari took out a hoodie and noticed there was Cyno's name engraved on it neatly.

' Oh, it's his personal hoodie or something?  Maybe... I should look for another one first.. ' Tighnari continue looking at the bundle of hoodies.

After about 10 minutes, Tighnari gave up and held the same hoodie before. " Why is choosing so hard?! "

" Tsk, tsk. My dear, you're still looking for a perfect hoodie? " Cyno's leaning at the door, half naked, only with his towel wrapping his waist. " Oh, you want to wear my personal hoodie? How cute... Wear it, don't be shy " Cyno then whisper to his ear " Let the whole campus know that you are mine, Nari "

Backed out, Tighnari cover himself with the hoodie. " It's not like that! I was... This hoodie looks great, but I didn't notice that it actually one of your personal hoodie! I-I can choose another one! "

" Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just get ready and leave the room. You aren't going to see me naked, right? It's not a problem to me, I like you to admire my big co— " Tighnari covers his mouth.

" S-shut up! Don't say something embarrassing like that! I'm leaving, see you in 10 minutes " Tighnari stomping out the room with the same hoodie, making Cyno laugh.

' He's adorable, such a fragile emerald '

Two of them then walk out the house and Cyno held Tighnari's hand, walking them to his car.

" You know, I can just walk to the campus... " Tighnari tries to escape from him.

" No " Cyno replied.

" Well, I'm just being honest about it. It's not like it will take me too long to go there ", Tighnari standing outside the car while Cyno just staring at him unamused.

" Come on, I just want to treat you some breakfast. After class, we meet again. Sounds good? I also have a few proposal too ", Cyno then step out the car and take Tighnari to seat on the right side. " See? It's not that hard to get in "

" Urgh, how much for the ride? "

" It's free, you don't have to worry about it. Besides, I'm here with you because you need my help and I require your service, which is, a real boyfriend "

" Nu-uh! I'm not your boyfriend, I'm the rented boyfriend " Tighnari explains " Anyways, where are we having breakfast?

" Starbucks, why? ", He starts driving.

" Isn't that like, super expensive? I can't afford that "

Cyno smiles to him, " Don't worry, love. I'll pay you everything. Let me just spoil you, okay? "

" It's still wrong of me to use your money! " Tighnari exclaimed.

" Don't worry, father gave me one of his cards, so it would be totally fine. Besides, I have to treat my wife something too so she will always stay happy "

" W-wife?! Since when?! I already told you that I'm just a rented boyfriend, nothing more! "

" Nah, don't say another word, Nari. It is what it is. Father and Mother would be so happy to meet you "

" You are so unpredictable, Cyno "

" Also, I think my father will call me any minute now " and his phone rings, flashing the name ' Father ' on it. " Tighnari, answer the call  for me, please "

" But "

" Just answer it already or the old man try to lecture me before class "

Tighnari take his phone and answer the phone. " H-Hello? Tighnari's speaking on Cyno's behalf "

" Oh? What is my son doing right now? I guess you both getting breakfast? Are you Nari from the stream? Sure, sure, you both do look like a match from heaven! My son really know how to choose a partner, I'm so proud of him! This is getting out of topic, but please tell my son that he's going to attend a family weekend this week and that is final. Make sure you come along, I want to see your face! The family surely are happy to have you around! Good luck with school, son! " the man from the phone hangs, leaving Tighnari speechless.

" So, what did he said? "

" He told me.. he wanted to meet me and you are invited to a thing called Family Weekend? And he want me to go with you too ", Tighnari then touch his forehead. " Urgh, I thought this is easy, but this is way too much off my plate. How can I impress your family when I do looking like this? "

Cyno stare at him up and down, and just shrugs. " I think you look adorable. If you want, we can go wardrobe shopping after class. You also need to quit your job, I assume " Cyno said, leaving Tighnari shocked.

" Why?! "

" Now you are financially stable with me, you don't have to work. Don't worry about it, I can provide everything "

" Still! It is wrong of me to use people's money! You don't get it, Cyno! "

" Urgh! I use my father's money because he told me to spend them on my partner, and here we are! Don't try to argue with me or things will be far way complicated than what it is now " Cyno almost scream to Tighnari, but stare at him down.

Tighnari's ears flops, meaning he is sad with Cyno's word. " I'm sorry... " Hurt by the plain words, he just stare outside the window.

" Nari.. I .... Urgh, I'm sorry, will you forgive me? "

Tighnari didn't reply, but just staring outside, ears still down, meaning he is still upset with it.

" I just want to let you know that I got everything all covered for you. I don't mean to hurt you "

" Yeah... "
