Chapter 6 : A Morning Routine

It's been a few minutes of the two men fighting with each other in the car. It was all silence along the ride and it's killing Cyno's apart.

' Urgh, why won't he just talk to me like usual. I know that I got mad at him, but come on. It's not like I hurt him mentally '

The car stopped at the parking lot, and Cyno look at Tighnari, worried.

" Uh, we are here now. Get you butt off so we can get some breakfast. You can choose anything. I'm so sorry again... ", Cyno then got himself out and open the door to the fennec.
" Come on darling, come out "

" I like men " Tighnari jokes.

" Not that kind of coming out, silly " he looks at Tighnari lovingly. " Come on, let's get you something to eat. We can get some waffles if you want. Sorry about what I did, okay? "

" It's fine, but my ears kinda hurt "

" Pardon? Can you repeat? "

" My ears hurt hearing you screaming at me " Tighnari then held his left ear. " It's sensitive, don't you remember? "

" Ah, yeah. I was mad at you and I know that is wrong of me to do so. I'll compensate you with your expenses for the whole time you with me, so don't worry "

Shrugs, Tighnari walk in front of him, leaving the jackal staring at him. Cyno then pull their hand together and look to the other way, making the fennec embarrassed.

' He shouldn't be holding my hand like this. This relationship is just starting because of my own stupidity '

Both of them enter Starbucks, still holding hands. Cyno quickly walk to the receptionist and order their breakfast. A chocolate cake caught the fennec's eyes which made his tail wagging excitedly. Noticed the unusual behavior or his newly boyfriend, Cyno fake coughing to get Tighnari's attention.

" Do you want that? ", Cyno pointing to the cake.

" No, I'm fine. I don't have enough money for that too ", Tighnari explains.

Cyno smirks and tell the receptionist to get cake which made Tighnari embarrassed. They quickly bring their orders to the table next to the window to enjoy their breakfast.

Pouting, Tighnari stare into the jackal. " I told you that I couldn't afford such cake. Why are you so bothered to buy it? "

Cyno smiles, " It was the least I can do. Now, finish the whole plate to show gratitude "

' This bitch ', Tighnari almost curse but he just nodded to the older.

A very long awkward silence entered the room caused Tighnari to feel uneasy. The jackal is staring on him for a quite some time, it makes the situation really awkward too.

" Sir, you need to stop staring at me. If you want some of my waffles, you clearly can take them ", he politely say.

Huffed by the comment, Cyno just smile. " You know, why didn't I just make my move when I saw you for the last 3 years? Just look at you, so cute eating your cake like an excited highschool girl "

Flustered by him, Tighnari just continue to eat his cake. " Don't ask me, lummox. This relationship is based on money, not interest "

" Man, you suck. Nari, you will eventually fall for me, mi amor. Also, I have a a joke to crack "

" Please be a good one ", Tighnari just sigh.

" What do you give a sick lemon? "

Tighnari rolled his eyes, " What is it? "

" A lemon-aid .... ", Cyno hold his laugh and Tighnari just stare at him like a disappointed mother.

" Cyno, your joke is shit... "

" Ouch, first you call me an idiot, now you call my joke are shit? Damn, you hurt my feelings, my dear ", Cyno fake crying which made Tighnari annoyed.

" Sir Aureus, I am just spitting truth. Maybe your fellow classmates likes it more than I do ", he shrugs.

" Well, Nilou find my jokes entertaining. You just don't get it "

" Whatever, let's go now. I have class in 2 hours. Gotta meet Albedo too ", Tighnari got up and Cyno just stare at him. " What? You are the one who's driving, I am waiting for you to get up "

" Oh, yeah. Silly me, you can wait outside. I want to get a latte before going back, here's the key. You can start the car first ", he pass his car key to Tighnari which made him puzzled. How one can just trust someone like that?

' Come on, this man.. he easily to be rob for real. Maybe his love delusions fogging his tiny brain ', Tighnari then walk out the cafe by himself to the car, starting the engine, waiting for the jackal.

He came back in minutes with a box of cake and a tray of latte. He smiles towards Tighnari which gave the younger one butterflies.

" What was that for? ", Tighnari on purpose avoid meeting the other's eyes.

" Hm? ", He hums. " Can't I smile at you? It would be so wrong not to smile at someone you care about "

" Pftt, please. You barely know me, Mr Aureus. We just talked, do you agree? "

" Tsk, tsk. Silly fox, I gathered more information from the Akademiya's office ", Cyno said it naturally which made Tighnari shivers.

" Wait, how can you access the files? "

" Come on, Nari. You know that my father is a famous business man. He's one of the sponsor for the Akademiya. That's how I could sneak into the files, by mean, I steal informations from the higher ups ", Cyno starts driving the car. " Tell someone else about this and you'll fucked " he smirks.

" Excuse you, you can't just say that with a straight face! And duh, obviously, you are just playing with the punishment, sir "

" Oh, trust me... I will fuck you up, making you stay on bed for a whole week. I will make you stay, alright... "

The reply made Tighnari blushed, he couldn't help to feel embarrassed about the thought Cyno's comment. " T-That's it! Conversation is over now, I don't want to hear another word come out from your mouth! "

" Awh, little Nari is embarrassed. Bet you look even cuter when you be— ", Tighnari shove his hands to shut the jackal.

" Shut up, just focus on driving "

" You didn't even give me a chance to end my sentence... "
