chapter five: the concerns.

A vampire royal guard rushed inside the vampire King Palace.

"Morning Erikson," he was greeted by a random vampire.
"Later, I have some business at the moment," came the reply from said Erikson who disappeared inside.

"All I said was good morning, was he on a mission or something?" Random vampire asked his friends near him. All shrugged as response.

Erikson got to thee king work space but he was in a foul mood due to being bothered while working, "just find my advisors and ask them, leave," he ordered someones.
Erikson turned and walked far side of the hallway and to a small kitchen used for beverages only and made some coffee and strong too. He walked back and slowly walked into the study and placed the coffee infront of him.

"Thanks," he took it taking a sip, "hm? Only Erikson makes this," he looked up to find a smiling Erikson looking down at him chuckling, "there you are, where have you been? I missed this," he added taking another sip enjoying the coffee.

"I went to look into the red moon shift at my half- brother pack," He informed him.

"Half-brother?" King asked him listening.

"Yes, he is half wolf half vampire but he is more in tune as a wolf thus his fondness of packs other than our clans and formed clans." King was surprised but paid attention, "we have a right to worry. It did do something to a lot of individuals globally, humans included," then paused and pulled out his phone and played a video, "watch this," Erikson held it for him and he watched it.

"Who is that? They are good recon runner," he asked seeing his aerial skills while running.

"That is a human," Leander looked up to Erikson then the video, "at least he was, three days ago, he could do this and more. Prior to that, he couldn’t do this at all," he informed him

"What are you telling me?" Leander now asked him.

"Alpha Desmond was able to gain his favour and trust. I met him, he is no longer human, but a halfbreed wolf. And according to alpha Desmond, there maybe more humans turning to supernatural, as to what race, is determined by their ancestry dna," he explained to him.

"And maverick, what does he think of this?" Leander asked him.

"I don't know, after he left to consult with other sentinels, he hasn't called to say anything. What do you think?" He asked him.

Leander pointed to his empty cup, "I could use a refill,I need to think as this is how a war starts and I am in no mood for one," Erikson chuckled at that, "I will call maverick, ask him myself. In the mean time, coffee, please," Erikson did so and made an extra small jug just for him and gave it to him, "I love you," hee told him receiving the coffee happily.

"Your majesty will kill me then you, if she heard you," Erikson reminded him.

"She won't know," Leander said to that taking a sip.

"She knows," the Queen and wife to Leander said from another door connected to another room.  Leander flinched surprised,

"Good luck with her, you were right, she is dangerous," Erikson said and ran using his speed.
Leader turned to her, and just smiled as she did, 'I am done for,' were his thoughts seeing how much anger she was holding back.

With Edward, he was heading back to his dorm when eric called, (KFC for dinner, don't forgot today!)

"Okay, oh, KFC cafe, will get it," he ended the call putting on head phones.

Before he made it across the dark parking lot and towards the KFC, his senses went on and he stopped holding his ringing ears, "aah," then a knife missed him by inches, "ah!" He stepped back shocked surprised.
