𝐗. 𝐀 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.

[Y/N's] POV.

"Once Dane gets here we can push him through." Beatrix says, standing in front of the barrier in Miss. Dowling's office.

"Seems a bit harsh using him to spring the trap." Bloom says.

"He'll be game. Or he won't, and we'll do it anyway." she explains calmly.

"What about you? Are you game?" Bloom asks, making the other redhead confused before Stella turns off her invisibility and pushes Beatrix through the trap as she grunts in pain and falls down.

"That was more satisfying than a flowerpot. See? Break out the villain to get what Bloom wants and trap her again. Simply. My idea's rock." Stella smiles before walking past the paralyzed redhead with blue lips.

"Are we going to let her here all alone? No guard?" I asks as they all walk in front of me.

"She can't move, you can turn off your specialist mode." Stella says before starting walking again.

"If you say so." I catch up, walking behind them just in case.

After walking for a few minutes Bloom finally stops by a door, handing the flashlight to Musa.

"We'll be here when you come out." Musa says and Bloom glances at us before walking in.

"Bloom has been here for a long time.
What could they be talking about?" Terra asks breaking the silence.

"I once heard you talk about dirt. For two hours. Dirt. Two hours." Stella insists.

"It was soil. We just left Beatrix lying there in Miss. Dowling's office. I just wanna make sure she's not awake. Fashioning four shivs."

"Don't be ridiculous, it'll be one shiv four times. Stab, stab, stab, stab." Musa chuckles as Terra insists.

"Can we just go check, please?"

"Fine, but you're overreacting." Stella gives up.

"Y/n, go to the front," Stella says.

"Of course me," I say as they follow me.

We walk up the stairs and I turn around the corner. Beatrix was nowhere to be seen.

I turn back to them, "Guess what," I say sarcastically as Stella shakes her head.

"Ah, look at that. She's gone. I'd like my apology vie scented, handwritten note after we find her." Terra says.

"That is if we find her, and get over this other problem." I say after hearing someone walking towards the office.

"It gets worse," Musa says with her eyes glowing.

"You have no idea of the trouble you've caused." Miss. Dowling says angrily after aggressively entering the room with Mister Harvey and Aisha behind her.

"We were just trying to find the-" Terra tries to justify us but her father stops her.

"Not another word! Come with me." he walks out as we start following him.

"Hope the brownie points you get from this will keep you company when you have no friends." Stella whispers to Aisha as she walks past her.

I glance at the girl before walking out  the office.

When we get to the suite, Mister Harvey starts his lecture, "Insubordination, breaking and entering, endangering the lives of your classmates and releasing Rosalind? Do you have any idea of what you've done? I'd say I was disappointed in you but that goes way beyond that." Mister Harvey slowly shakes his head while turning around.

"You lied again!" Terra stands up.

"Excuse me?"

"About Rosalind. About Aster Dell. About everything. And you're angry with me? You can't punish me for not knowing something you didn't tell me. It doesn't make sense!" she snaps.

"Well, I suggest you all, cool down." he sternly says before leaving. Terra walks forward and tries to open the door but nothing.

"He used his magic to seal the doors. I caught him in a logic trap so he used his magic to ground us."

"It means you won." Stella says.

"He's overwhelmed." Aisha's speaks, before walking towards her dorm.

"Uh, where do you think you're going?" Stella stops her as the girl turns around.

"I always knew you were a teacher's pet, I just didn't realize that pet was a rat." Stell starts while facing Aisha.

"Damn," I mumble after hearing Stella going to the girl.

"I was planning on deesclating the situation by removing myself from it.
But if you wanna escalate-" Aisha says while stepping forward before she gets cut off by Musa.

"Can we just take 30 seconds, please?
At least, let me get my headphones." Musa walks to the dorm as the two start arguing again.

"You don't snitch. Everyone over the age of five knows that. Even Terra knows that." Stella says, giving Aisha a fake smile.

"Hey, I mean.. yeah. But, hey!" Terra says as Musa comes back with her headphones, sitting next to me.

"There are Burned Ones outside the barrier. Bloom is being selfish. The last thing Miss Dowling need is to be worried about Rosalind."

"Can you two stop arguing? It's annoying." I say as they look at me.

"I'm just explaining so she can stop saying-" I stop Aisha, by shushing her.

"I heard something, but I didn't catch  what it is," I say before the lights start flickering.

"Are we having a power outage?" Stella asks confusedly while looking up.

"How does that even happen here?"

"Well, it shouldn't. The electricity it runs on is magic." Terra answers Aisha's question.

"I'll go look then," I say before heading toward the door, walking through it.

[Third person's] POV.

Y/n finds herself in the hallway, as she looks at her right before turning left.
The lights keep flickering and then they completely turn off as she keeps walking.

She hears a loud thud as she turns her gaze back. After hearing something snarling next to her she quickly looks back in front of her, but the Burned One rapidly hits her in the abdomen.

She grunts out in pain while falling back. She sends a strong sound wave towards the creature, as it runs away in pain.

She quickly stands up while leaning on the wall for support. She rapidly walks back while holding her stomach and crying out in pain.

When she goes through the door, she falls down out of exhaustion and pain while groaning. Making the girls jump before running to her.

"Y/n!" Stella shouts while bending down to her in panic, as Musa does the same.

"What happend?" Musa fearfully ask as Y/n grunts while breathing heavily.

"It's a Burned One," she answer between groans as the girls look at eachother in dread.

"The infection is gonna spread soon," Terra says, sitting besides the wounded girl, as she pants heavily, with blood coming out of her injury. Aisha grabs I pillow as Stella gently raises Y/n's head, before the girl slides the pillow under.

Musa's eyes turn pink, as she hears screams and feels the pain.
"Musa are you okay?" Aisha asks, as Musa's eyes go back to normal.

"Somebody do something." she says while closing her eyes.

"I've lost signal." Stella says as her eyes become glossy while Aisha looks at Y/n with fear.
