Since school was over for the day, the Canterlot High gang lead Twilight and Spike into town to their usual hangout at Sugarcube Corner. Along with catching up on what they've been doing in their lives, Twilight explained that the girls causing trouble were sirens from Equestria.

Aside from the threat of the sirens, the Canterlot High teens were told of Twilight's title as the Princess of Friendship, along with getting a castle. Sunset couldn't help but envy Twilight, being a better student under Celestia than she was, and Twilight truly deserved to be their mentor's prized pupil.

"I'm a little surprised you didn't have a castle at all until now," Rarity said. "Oh, it must be a sight to behold there."

"Yeah...it's something alright," Twilight mumbled, rubbing her arms nervously as they left out the part about Tirek destroying her earlier home.

Spike could see her fidgeting, gently holding her hand underneath the table. She squeezed his hand tightly, trying to put away the loss of her home and focus on the matter at hand.

"There's one thing that's got me puzzled about what happened to you girls earlier today," Spike said, bringing back the topic on the sirens. "The sirens sang at lunch today, but out of all of the students there, you six were somehow unaffected by their voices. That shouldn't be possible."

"I thought maybe you or Twilight could figure that out as well," Applejack said. "We should have been arguing just like everyone else, and we clearly heard them."

"Well, as weird as that is, there's also something else that's been going on for a while, too." Dash pulled out her phone and pulled up a photo of her.

She showed it to Spike, the dragon boy's jaw dropping as he looked at the photo, getting a closer look at the picture. The rainbow-haired teen was seen hovering in the air playing a guitar, flying on pegasus wings with equine ears sticking out on her head, her skin changed to the color of her pony counterpart, and her hair grown out to create a tail hanging behind her.

"Uhh, Twilight, you need to see this." He showed Twilight the picture, giving the exact same look of shock Spike had just moments ago.

"Dash, what is this!?" Twilight asked.

"Since Principal Thea planned to hold a musical showcase, I wanted to form a band so we could play," Dash explained. "As weird as it sounds, whenever we play on our instruments, we transformed just like at the Fall Formal with your magic."

"That's incredible..." Spike took back Dash's cell phone and flipped through the other pictures of the other girls with equine appendages as they got into playing on their instruments.

"Maybe the Element of Magic must have given each of you girls a bit of magic when we used the power of the Elements of Harmony on Sunset after she turned into that that horrifyingly awful winged monster." Sunset groaned, Twilight wincing and looked apologetically at her. "No offense."

"None taken," Sunset said for the third time. "I'm used to it..."

"You sure, Sunset?" Spike asked, handing back Dash's phone. "I thought after a few months of community service, things would have gotten better."

She lowered her head, sighing sadly. "I became a monster...I didn't like what I became because of my anger and lust for power. The student body still hasn't forgiven me for what I did. I don't blame them..." Sunset clenched her fists, looking at the table. Seeing from inside her heart, watching just how dangerous she was and scared to death over how twisted her anger had become. "...Sometimes I feel like it's not completely gone...I'm afraid the demon is still inside me, waiting for me to slip up and use its power again."
