overall, this chapter will be simply explaining everything about this au. this is a modern au. the fatui still exists but is on the down low- the harbingers are different. none of the harbingers as we know them are currently harbingers. everything else is pretty much the same, other than the fact that there are jobs that our world has and our worlds advanced technology. warnings: child abuse, neglect, homophobia, transphobia, general abuse, VERY HEAVY sexual content, smut, violence, mentions of suicide/suicidal feelings, etc
there will be some little slivers of other languages thrown around in chapters, mostly japanese and russian- if you happen to know any of said languages and something that i've put in the chaoter is grammatically incorrect/uses the wrong characters or whatever please, please correct me and comment how it should be! i will edit the chapter to be correct as soon as possible. i use google translate, so not everything is garunteed to be 100% accurate. balladeer -- birthname: kunikuzushi name: scaramouche age: 22 sex: female (with chest surgery) gender: transmasc sexuality: unlabeled status: single pronouns: he/him vision: electro occupation: single idol, idol group (mirAI), music producer instruments: electric guitar, violin nation: inazuma family: ei (mother), yae miko (step mother), raiden shogun (sister) background: as a child, kunikuzushi was never his mothers "perfect little girl." for one, he'd always get into fights in middle school and up- but the only reason he ever went to publix school in the first place was because he was his mother's disappointment. he would always cry and get upset over things that should have meant "nothing," which led to ei determining that he was too weak to take her place as an archon (and ruling over the nation of inazuma). he was replaced by his sister, who's birth name isn't spoken- she's only referred to as the shogun. neither of them get their mothers attention now, but as children, shogun was obviously favored. scaramouche was neglected ever since he was young, so usually took shelter with his best friend, ko's family. he's been singing since he was 14.
scaramouche isn't completely fluent in english, he mostly understands it but has trouble finding the words he wants (and the meanings of them) and how to use them. he also have some trouble with pronunciation, so often speaks in japanese (a lot of his dialog in the first chapter is in japanese, but i wanna spare y'all the trouble of trying to translate wha5 everything means)
