"I don't really realize how much you mean to me till I hear your voice after a little to long of not hearing it
It's soothing to hear, and when your around I feel grateful, something I don't think I say enough but surely something I often feel and think but don't voice
Sometimes it's not something I can voice, if I'm being honest, there's no one to voice it to, because your not actually here
If only you were, if only there wasn't a barrier between us, but there is, and I can't do anything about it
Your not here, yet I still here your voice often, everyday actually, just listening from afar, wishing I could say something
Even if I could, you wouldn't be able to understand me, it's only one of the many barriers in between us
Maybe I won't let it stop me, maybe if I follow my dreams I can be closer to you, maybe you won't look the other way, but how will I ever know?
How am I supposed to reach my dreams? What steps do I need to take to get there? How can I reach you?
The biggest thing I've ever strived for, and the thing farthest away from me, something I'm so passionate about, something that takes up most of my thoughts
You helped start this fire inside of me, a fire I won't let be put out, the admiration I feel for you has helped me feel a stronger need to follow my dreams
So there's no need to worry about me, I'll be just fine as long as your still around, because in truth I need you around
When things get tough I know I can rely on you, even if I'll never be in your spotlight, because you'll always be in mine"
