What an amazing ride we've been on together. Another two years have passed and another book sits in my lap now. A lot has happened since then. I survived a pandemic. I got married. I changed jobs. And yet the only thing that remained consistent were the weekly chapter uploads and my love for this story.
I learned a lot these two years. I tried my hands at writing romance, a slow burn between two people who had a lot to learn themselves. I wanted to make sure their journey of love felt realistic, or at the very least that it wasn't shown as easy. That love takes commitment and sacrifice. What that means for Libro and Elba, however, we'll find out later in book three.
And I suppose now would be a good time to admit that I am working on book three, which should be a surprise to no one. I love this book series. I want to keep writing it for a good while, but I will admit that I want to try writing other books some day. I've got a few ideas bouncing around in the old noggin, but for now I'm going to catch up on some sleep and maybe read a few novels along the way to refresh my mind.
Timeline wise, I'd love to start working on an audiobook for book one. I've got bought some audio equipment so far, and with my new job I should be able to afford some nice software to mix everything together nicely. A lot of changes are happening, but good ones I assure you. I highly recommend you follow me either on Twitter or at the Literary Lounge Discord Server to stay up to date on my current shenanigans, and also because I love hearing from all of you.
Now for the mushy, gushy stuff. Thank you everyone for reading my story. The Vangen wouldn't be who they are now if it weren't for all of you. I've loved every comment, suggestion, and meme made over the past two years. You all are the reason I get up every morning and slave over a hot keyboard to make this story happen. I hope to keep your attention when the next novel drops.
Thank you.
We'll see each other again, one day.
In the cold lands of Danic.
