my lunch break was up.

the clock struck 1 and it was time to go back to work.

"alright then, ma." justine mumbled and pecked my forehead, "it's time for you to get back to work."

"i know but i don't wanna leave y'all." i pouted.

"you'll see us later on." madison said and i looked at her.

"that's in 4-5 hours and i cannot wait that long. it's already been nearly two days without y'all and you want me to spend more hours waiting again?" i made puppy eyes for the dramatic effect of my sentence.

"man, tell you 'bout dramatic. get your fine ass back to work, baby."

i huffed but nonetheless came out of her grip and walked off, not telling them goodbye. a smack was delivered to my ass and i yelped and turned to justine.

"no byes?"

"fuck y'all."

in unison, her and madison cocked an eyebrow.

"excuse me?" madison said and started to walk towards me.

oh damn, what did i just do?

justine didn't stop her as she walked towards me. madison gripped my hair and tilted my hair back so that i was looking at her.

"you better watch that mouth of yours or i'll put it to good use, kai. stop cursing. how many times do i have to tell you that?" her voice was dangerous and low and i could hear how much a threat was behind that.
