I don't think I was ever friends with Sirius Black but for some reason, it hurt when he said that I was a Nosy arrogant brat, I asked him about his home life I probably shouldn't have asked but he didn't have to call me that. So now I'm sitting alone on a window sill looking out over the ground, watching people go by, thinking about how shitty my life is.
It was Saturday so I decided to take advantage of the sunny November day I took a walk, I guess we had some twin telepathy because I ended up taking a walk with Remus, we didn't talk we just walked in silence until Remus said
" Sirius is going off about how annoying and bratty you are, what happened I thought you guys were becoming friends" I looked at the ground
" maybe we weren't ever friends," I said indifferently he nodded
"but It was nice while it lasted" I added as an afterthought, we went back to walking in silence, Until we got back to the castle we went our separate ways.
When I got back up to the common room the person I least wanted to see was sitting on one of the couches I walked past him he looked up and then back down guiltily, does he feel bad? Probably not I mean he's Sirius black he cares about no one but himself, I pushed the thought aside and went up to my dorm.
When I walked I saw Mar and Alie on their beds Alice reading and Marleen drawing I walked over to my truck and took out my guitar deciding to play a bit I was strumming and humming I was thinking about Sirius
" We were bonding and then we tore it all apart took us back to the way it was", I sang
"I was just starting to like you and then we ruined it all . If I'm being honest those were some of the best times of my life laughing with you down by the lake". I finished both girls were looking at my mouth open " who was that for" they asked
" oh no one" I said
"Oh really because it sounded really heartfelt" Alie said
"like it was for someone who was really special" mar added
"It was for no one" I said sharply know one important.
I was up early the next morning It was only 5:30, I got ready for the day, showered, and brush my teeth, there were still an hour and a half until breakfast so I went down to the common room the only person down there was my brother
"good morning Raina" he said
"morning Rem, what are you doing" I asked
"reading and waiting"
" doesn't seem like a terrible idea, mind if I join you"
"not at all," he said as he moved to make room on the sofa I sat down.
What felt like a couple of minutes later but was really an hour, Lilly came down the stairs "good morning Remus Good morning Raina How's your day going"
"Good thanks" Rem said
"what time is it Lilly"
"about seven"
"want to go get breakfast," I asked they nodded went we entered the great hall there were only a few people at the tables the three of us sat down at the end of the Gryffindor table and started to eat. About 45 minutes later Jamie Mar Alie And Petey came down
"hey, guys" I got a few nods.
After breakfast, I went back to my dorm to grab my books and bag. My classes went by quickly I decided to use my free time to go to the Library to study and read, to my surprise James was there "Hey Jamie what are you doing here" I asked,
" I am... reading"? he said though it sounded more like a question,
"sure okay, why upside down"? I asked
"Oh you get more uh knowledge this way," he said
"Sure," I said hesitantly "mind if I join you"
"go ahead"
I sat down in the chair next to him.
