The Abandoned playground

You woke up to your parents shouting at each-other like usual again. You decided to get out of bed put on some jeans, and your favorite shirt/jacket, and go out for a walk. Your parents didn't even notice you leaving because of their shouting and screaming at each-other.

When you opened the front door you smelt fresh dewdrop mist. It had rained the following night so it was muddy and wet outside.

You started walking to the general store you lived close to, across the block. After about 15 minutes you, had got there and decided to just buy some of those small cereal bags as a breakfast. You lived in a small town so you practically knew everyone in town. 

You grabbed a few small cereal bags and went to the cashier, "Morning Claire." You said, Claire Responded back by saying "Good Morning y/n, your here pretty early." She said pointing to the clock behind her which read 6:30AM Damn I got up early today, you thought to yourself. "Im just buying some cereal bags, nothing special." "Alright" Claire responded as she rang you up. "5.99$" Claire said, as you handed her some cash. You started walking out of the store with the cereal bags in your hand, as you turned around for a brief second and silently waved bye to Claire. 

As you left the store you looked up and saw that the clouds were becoming dark greyish-blueish, you realized it was probably going to rain in about 30 minutes so you sped-walk home. As soon as you got home, and inside it started raining but not just raining, pouring like cats and dogs rain. Your parents were in their room probably just watching TV in silence, like normal. You saw the kitchen microwave clock and it read 7:48AM, you went into your room and got on your bed. You pulled out your phone from your back jean pocket, and watched TikTok while eating the cereal bags you had purchased from the General Store. After an hour or so you had fallen asleep unconsciously.

You woke up and looked at the clock as it read 11:23AM, you looked out of your window near your bed and saw that it wasn't raining anymore, just the sun shining brightly on the grass and mud. You checked your weather app and saw that it wasn't going to rain anymore, but would be muddy. You decided that you wanted to go the Abandoned playground with your friends for some jokes and laughs. 

You opened your messenger and went to the friend group chat, and asked "You guys free, and wanna go to the abandoned playground?" Kellie was the first to reply and said "Sure, I have nothing going on right now anyway." Claire responded after Kellie and said "I can't as usual, gotta work :/." Eryn, and Kyla responded at the same time saying "Sure/yeah."

As you waited at the Abandoned Playground your friends came, Kyla was the first to come and, said "THIS IS SO COOL-" like she hadn't already seen it a bajillion times. Kellie responded back to Kyla saying "You've seen it so many times but your still impressed about it every time we come here." As they continued chatting you had walked backwards a little bit, and tripped on a rock and got transported into the backrooms...
