And that was none other than Sumedh who was looking intently at the baby girl from the time all of this drama was unfolding.. perhaps he noticed something in her which attracted him and Samaira after hearing his voice felt a warm affection.. what was it? She wondered...
Samaira:- aap kon?
Sumedh:- wo..woh mai...
he stuttered not knowing either she knows about him. Suddenly samaira said
"lion!!"
Sumedh:- uhh. What?
samaira:- lion! You look so royal like a lion.... then she giggled keeping her hands on her mouth
Ahh how beautiful that giggle is~ thought Sumedh totally lost in the baby
He remenbered something. He always has a few chocolates in his pockets and we all know how big of a chocolate lover he is! he thought to give some to her as it was necessary to cut the shyness of the child. He gave some to her and Samaira reacted as if she had got the entire cadbury industry! And she started to eat them putting two at a timr and here Mallika was seething in anger seeing how she is eating as if she is 'BARSO KI BHOOKI' And said,
"baby ye kya baat hui? havent you seen chocolates before? is this how a boarding schools child should behave?"
and here sumedh got angry seeing her scolding Samaira
"arey jaane do na! bachchi hai woh abhi nhi khayegi toh kya tum chocolates khaogi?"
this left mallika flabergasted she decided to protest,
" uske daant kharab ho jayenge"
"haa haa ek chocolate khane se toh jaise uske daaton mein cavities nachenge na? meri bachchi ko kuch mat bolo!"
both of them kept on fighting ignoring that "Meri bachchi"
Suddenly he felt a tug at his feet. Samaira was asking him to bend and he did so and on bending he was rewarded with a soft kiss on his cheeks by Samaira and she gently hugged him and Sumedh
was astounded by this.
Droplets of happy tears made their way to his cheeks. He wrapped his arms around her tightly. Suddenly Samaira felt her shoulders getting wet she released the hug to see Sumedh still feeling the moment.
she wiped his tears with her hands and asked
"aap ro kyun rahe ho?"
"kuch nahi aankhon mein...." Samaira cut him saying "aankhon mein dhul ghus gayi?"
"tumhe kaise pata?"
"meri mummy bhi aisa hi karti hai. Koi ek hai jiski bohot yaad aati hai mummy ko...kya naam thaa....um...su..sumedh ha Sumedh!" sumedh is shocked she is talking about him only, does that mean..
