PROLOUGE
Bandages wrapped around his fingers as he let out a small sigh ─ the clock ticking a few minutes more, before it rang.
“Mr. L/n, please be more careful this time.” The nurse says making the (h/c) male nod.
“I will, Ma'am.” M/n says with a soft tone of his voice ─ sincere smile displayed.
“You can't keep coming here, you know that or else─”
“You'll call my parents and tell my records of how many times I've been in the clinic, Yes I know Ma'am.” M/n continues her sentence, the nurse let out a sigh before closing the medkit.
“You can go now and make sure not to get anymore bruises or scratches, Mr. L/n.” She reminded the (h/c) male.
“Okay Ma'am, I'll be heading home now! See you soon!” M/n replies as he bid good bye to the nurse ─ waving his hand, before he left the clinic; She let out a sigh.
M/n walks down the hallway to his classroom to get his things, before leaving the school. It was already almost 4 o'clock pm, some students are cleaning their area of responsibility and the teachers are in their faculties.
“Ah! M/n, did you get in trouble again?” A feminine voice called out M/n, he turned around to look at who it was.
“Ah─ Cora, no; I just went to the clinic.” M/n responded with a small smile, which made her nod in understanding.
“Scratches again?” Cora asked for confirmation with her brows raised as she awaits for M/n's response.
“Yes─ well, this time I was helping someone cut the rose bushes and─” M/n replied as he explained it to Cora; who sighed at his stupidity.
“You don't have to force yourself into doing these type of things, you know that.” Cora says as he let out a sigh, as she knew M/n well ─ they were buddies since preschool.
“They asked for my help and I did.” M/n responded making Cora even more sigh at his more stupidity.
“Just ignore them, y'know do your own thing first before them.” Cora says as she pat M/n's shoulder.
“I'll get going now Cora ─ watch out for yourself, when you go home.” M/n says before he went inside his classroom and get his things.
After a short while, he walks out of the classroom and bid everyone good bye; he finally went home.
[ Time Skip ]
M/n finally returned home safely, he saw his little brother and sister greet him with smiles on their faces.
“Welcome home brother!!” They both said in sync ─ M/n received a warm hug from them, which he returned with a bright smile on his face.
“Mom, brother is home!” My little sister ─ Emma shouts as she keeps hugging my waist.
“Dear, do not shout.” Their mother lightly scolded Emma making her apologize.
Unbeknownst to M/n, his little brother who is two years younger than him; was observing his every movement ─ saw your hands full of bandages.
“Brother, what's with your hands?. . .” My little brother ─ Cameron questioned M/n.
“Oh, this is just a scratch; when I was grooming the rose bushes.” M/n respond with a small closed eye smile, which made their mother sighs.
“Did the nurse patch you up?” Their mother asked making M/n nod in response.
“Alright, dear(s); let your brother step inside and change his clothes, he is probably all sweaty after school.” Their mother says as the younger siblings went to the living room, which made M/n and his mother smile.
“Alright, M/n dear; can you take a bath first and we have something important to announce.” Their mother says making M/n hums in response.
“I'll go take a bath, right now.” The (h/c) male says as he walks up the stairs to his bedroom.
He placed his backpack on his bed and went to his wardrobe to get a new set; pair of clothes ─ he then went to the bathroom and closed the door before taking a bath.
A few minutes have passed, he then walked out of the bathroom on his pajamas ─ drying his wet (h/c) locks with a towel.
“Brother, are you done bathing?” Cameron questioned him, waiting for an answer outside his door.
“I am done, come in Cam!” M/n responded ─ a smile on his face as he saw his little brother walk in to his room.
“Brother. . .Can I talk to you?” Cameron asks making M/n grew confusion, before nodding in response.
“Is there something bothering you?” M/n asks as he hangs his towel dry, Cameron bit his bottom lip and gulped his own saliva down.
“Brother, why do you always have bandages when you come home?” Cameron asks as he look at M/n straight in the eyes, making M/n feel awfully awkward and anxious all of a sudden.
“Oh. . . that was because of my clumsiness.” M/n responded with a small smile on his face ─ hiding his anxiousness inside.
“I see. . . please, be much more careful brother.” Cameron says making M/n's anxiousness disappear as he wore a sincere smile at his little brother.
“I promise.” Cameron smiled as he hugged his elder brother.
“Boys, come down and eat!” They both heard their mother, making them break their hug ─ both going down the stairs to the dining area to eat.
Cameron and M/n both sat beside each other; Emma and their mother both sat beside each other with a smile.
“Alright, since everyone is here ─ I'll announce the surprise to everyone.” Their mother says making her children grew more curious and confused.
“We. . .
Are moving!”
