Ethan walks up to James ' door, he knocks on the door. His heart is racing because he has never come over before. He opens the door, stepping in. The room smells like cigarette smoke and something else. Something sickeningly sweet?
"Hey, dude!" Ethan says, smiling widely at James. James smiles back, looking Ethan up and down. His face twists into one of disgust.
"What the fuck?" James says, walking out of his room and closing the door behind him. Ethan follows after him, looking around the hallway confused. There were multiple pictures on the wall, mostly pictures of him. His stomach churned. Did someone tell James? Ethan looks at his hands
Ethan had forgotten that James didn't know that he was trans and he was obviously confused of all the pictures of women around his house, the woman was Ethan. James was confused but continue walking up to Ethan's room they sat down and Ethan opened up a small box and gave James a present. James opened the box and his face lit up with excitement Ethan had gotten him the Miku poster he wanted.
James got close to Ethan, who stood awkwardly on edge. His eyes flicked between their faces and they slowly started leaning closer together until they were lips barely touching. James' lips were soft, the perfect match for his own. The smell of smoke filled the air and Ethan found it hard to concentrate when James' scent was invading his nose.
James pulled away and asked
"why do you have all the pictures of the girl around your house?"
Ethan bit his lip and then replied
"that's me, before I transitioned I know I still sort of look feminine but it's mainly to hide from my parents but you know."
James stood in shock but he accepted it and hugged his boyfriend tightly. When he let go of Ethan he said
"I'm sorry I never asked before, if I did this would've been awkward."
Ethan just smiled, it wasn't uncomfortable now. This whole thing was nice to forget about sometimes. James looked at the clock on the wall and realized what time it was, it was almost curfew.
