I turn off my phone and look at my brother. I'm so dead if Courtney finds out.
"What is it" I ask, fidgeting. He gives me a look.
"You know exactly what it is" he says. "I thought you told Courtney you loved her" he says. I bite my lip.
"Things change..." I trail off. He stares me dead in the eye.
"You know you can't break up with her. The record company will kill you and so will she" he says.
"I know, but....." I trail off.
"But you've fallen helplessly in love with a girl you've never met" he finishes for me. I wished so badly that I could say no. That I could tell him that I was still completely and utterly in love with Courtney. But I couldn't. Because he couldn't be more right. I had fallen helplessly in love with a girl I've never met. And I didn't regret a thing.
