Austin's pov
I sit, looking at the phone in my hand for a solid ten minutes before Anthony comes in. I look up at him and he raises an eyebrow at my current stance. He sits down next to me, carefully, as if I'm a bomb about to explode.
"Dude, what the heck" he asks, noticing the name on the screen of my phone. I bite my lip.
"She asked about Courtney" I say, staring off into space.
"What did she say" he asks. I gulp.
"Well, I told her she was cute then she asked why I kept complementing her and I told her it was because there was so much to complement so then she said that if I treated her this well then she wanted to see how well I treat my actual girlfriend..." I say. Anthony nods in understanding.
"And you just realized that you haven't contacted Courtney in a month" he says. My eyes widen.
"I haven't?!" I practically scream, horrified at the amount of time I had spent without her without even noticing. He nods slowly. I groan, pulling at my hair. "This is worse than I thought" I whine. He pats my back.
"Dude it's fine. Just do what you feel is right and it'll all work itself out" he says, leaving the room to leave me to my thoughts.
