Let's roll out

I was unlocking the door when it opened very suddenly. "Hey mom what's wrong?" I asked a little startled that she had been home.

"Nothing, I just thought it was time to tell you something important" she said. My dad was behind her nodding his head in agreement. He's never been one to tell her anything she never wanted to hear.

By now my palms were sweating so bad, I didnt know how to feel about this. Maybe she knew about the fight? Maybe she knew I skipped school last week? But we never talk about anything important.

She took a deep breath and sat me down next to her on the couch, she looked up at the guys and stopped what she was about to say. She looked down at me and asked "Who are these people? Are you safe?" She started grabbing my arm to pull me closer to her and I shook my head saying I was fine. I introduced her to them. She nodded and said for the guys to go into the kitchen.

"Honey I know your father and I don't pay much attention to you and we are very sorry for that. But it's time you knew. You are adopted and your real name is Alice Hills and you have an older brother." she said.

Being caught completely off guard, I got up and walked to my room. I sat on the bed trying to wrap my head around this. I was adopted... everything that all the family members said were true, they weren't my parents. I shook my head, mad that she kept this from me.

I packed a couple months worth of clothes, shower stuff, make-up, etc. I can't believe I've been lied to my entire life. I finished packing and looked around my room. I opened the door only to hear my 'mother' talking to the boys.

"Please make sure she gets to Justin safely." I heard my 'mom' tell them. I walked downstairs and found her saying goodbye to them. Tony saw me and took my bags to the bus. I said goodbye then left. I had all my savings in my bag, thank God I worked for a while. Maybe it was time for me to finally run away after this tour. There's no point in coming back and who knows I might find a city I really love and just go back there after the tour.

What did she mean 'get to Justin safely'. Did they know my brother? What is going on and who can I believe?
