*Unknown*

I had followed her out of class outside to the parking lot. She got on her bike, I tried to call out for her to stop, but it was to late. She was gone. I acted fast if I want to know what I wanted to know then I would follow her. I got in my car and followed her bike until she pulled into a bar.

I watched as she flipped out her phone said few words and then hung up. She soon went in and I parked my car. I walked in only to see her drinking shots of god knows what. She laid cash on the counter and waved a goodbye to the bartender. She walked right pass me and didn't notice so I followed.

"Why are you following me?" She asked not even looking behind her, I didn't expect her to suddenly stop and turn to face me. Damn, if looks could kill I would be six feet under right now. "What gang are you part of?" Her glare got harder "none of your goddamn business" she tone was hard and final.

She tore out of the lot and I was still standing there like an idiot. I know another way to figure out what gangs are in this town, my uncle Josh. Looks like a trip to the police station.

*30 minutes later*

I pulled up to the station and walked in to see if I could find my uncle. "Uncle Josh!" I shouted at his retreating figure his head whipped around to my direction. "Blake, my boy how are you?" Thank goodness that he remembered to call me by my middle name "I'm good uncle, how about you?"

I asked as I approached him "good now, what do you need?" I looked kinda nervous but I just came out and said it "may I know the gangs that are in town?" I thought he would have said no or have been suspicious of something but his smile got larger "Yo Max!" He shouted and I heard someone call back "come here, I got to talk to you for a minute" and next thing I know I see a blonde guy jogging down the hall. "Yeah?"

My uncle whispered something in his ear and he too smiled, looked at me, and nodded at Josh before running off again. I wonder what he's up too? The blonde guy named Max came back with papers in his hand. "Okay we have two gangs in town, they're rivalry gangs but if your looking to join one I know the best one" Josh started and I nodded for him to continue. He took some papers from Max's hand to show me "I recommend that you join The Crimson Angels" I had been in a gang before, I left just before I moved from Chicago here to Oregon.

I kept listen to my uncle, turns out that Max and him know the leader pretty well. I nodded taking the papers out of his hand "thank you Josh" he only grinned and rubbed his hand on my hair messing it up farther. "Welcome kid" with that I was gone to the gang house. I looked at the address and it shocked me, they're in the middle of the woods. It took close to 30 minutes to get there from the station I pulled up to the little dirt road that was narrow but could fit my car.

The house was three story's at least, I was beautiful, brick walls with thick, wooden, white, painted, beams showing every so often on the sides, vines had ventured their way up the walls but were trimmed down, honestly my dream house. I noticed there were eight bikes parked out front and a garage. I got out of my car and walked towards the door. I heard loud music coming from inside but I still knocked. 'They probably can't hear me' I thought but I was proven wrong when a guy about 20, with fluffy black hair, and piercing blue eyes, answered the door.

"What?" He asked his voice low and gruff "I was wondering if I could join?" I said he rolled his eyes and moved out of the doorway "follow me, kid" he began walking and I followed after him closing the door. We walked to the game room and the guy said "yo Vincent" to a brown haired, broad shoulder man, who I'm assuming is Vincent, "Yeah?", "I need you to take this kid here to see boss" Vincent looked me over once and tried not to laugh but nodded anyway.

By the time we got to the office Vincent knocked but told me to wait while I stayed out here. Music blared out of the room as soon as he opened the door and quickly slipped in. A few seconds later he came back out, told me to go in, but as soon as I was getting ready to enter he grabbed me arm "kid can you speak a little Latin?" He asked seriousness laces his words and I nodded "then your good" and with that he walked off. I slipped into the room but was shocked at the sight in front of me, there sat a woman, not just any woman she was the girl I had been chasing earlier.

God what was her name again? I don't think I got to know her name. "Salve" she said, I remembered what Vincent had asked me, she speaks Latin as well as English. "Hello" she looked up at me from the papers she had in front of her and her eyes held a glare "why are you here?" Her words were like knives, sharp and cut me "I have come to join this gang, now if I may speak to your leader" I said in a calm voice although something inside me was telling me to shut up.

"Your looking at her" she said in a bored tone, leaning back in the chair. "Haha your real funny" I chuckled "come here, kid" her words held authority and I did as she said. She flipped her hair over her shoulder to reveal her gang tattoo "now tell me what it says." She demanded and I read it out loud "Joined January 12, 2003, Leader of The Crimson Angels Gang" then it hit me she wasn't lying. I just disrespected the leader of this gang, damn I feel like an idiot.

"Now sit your ass back down" she once again demanded. She sat down behind her desk, pulled out a forum and pen and slid it in front of me. "Fill it out, I'll be back in a minute" before I got to answer she got up and walked out of the door, leaving me alone in her office. I read over the forum noticing there was no pledge or oath to sign, 'well how odd' I thought and began to fill it out, my full name, past gang, age, things like that but the last question stopped me. "State your reason for wanting to join" I read out loud and jumped at the sound of the door opening and shutting.

"We'll have to work on your nervous condition, I see" she spoke, I looked to see she was caring a bowl, a knife, and a towel. I was curious as to why she had it but I went along with it. I went back to the question and was going to put down just for fun but it seems as if she read my mind "if you put down 'just for fun' as your answer I will snap your neck right here, right now" she said not even looking at me. I couldn't think of anything besides the fact that the gang was the only thing I could call family, so I used that as my answer. I gave it back to her and she looked it over nodding once in awhile but her eyes glazed over when she got to the bottom portion.

"Come back tomorrow after sun down then you will do several tests to see if you are worthy of taking a role in this gang." She paused a moment and looked up at me "you see this gang of mine is all I have and I operate it differently, a lot differently, then your previous gang, whom I'm allies with" she leaned back in her chair "goodnight Ryder." With that I walked out of the door without question, what was so different about her? I am intrigued and now I am more then willing to join her, but why? I guess I will find out tomorrow.

*Sadie*

I picked up my office phone and dialed the station "hello?" A voice asked "hello, may I please speak with Sergeant Josh and his partner Max?" I only got a brief 'okay' before I was switched to another line. "Hello?" I heard Max and Josh say in unison "guys you need to stop doing that, it's creepy" I paused to hear them laughing at my comment "and Josh?"

The silence was so dense I could probably cut it with my switchblade "yes Sadie?" He asked nervous "I KNOW YOU SENT YOUR NEPHEW TO ME!!" I yelled at him and faintly heard Max say 'your on your own bro' "oh and Maxie?" I said "yes Sadie?" He replied in a sing along tone "I know that you were also involved in it to" I told him with a smirk but continued no matter how much silence I get.

"Josh, are you sure you want him to join?" There was slight hesitation before he spoke "Sadie at of all honesty I don't want him in a gang but it's what makes him happy and I trust you no matter what criminal charges you have against you, you Sadie McKenna are the true meaning of trustworthy and have loyalty that lies close to the heart." He finished "okay Josh don't get mushy on me man" I teased and he scoffed "psh never" I just rolled my eyes. "So Josh your okay with him doing a blood oath?" The line froze in dead silence until I heard a shaky voice "Sadie?"

It was Max "Yeah?" I was curious as to what was happening "Sadie drop the line." I was confused "Drop the line Sadie, drop it now!" Max screamed and I did as he said. My cell phone vibrated 'good job, and I'm fine with it just be careful' I read the text Josh had sent me 'what happened?'

'Someone tapped into our phone line and tried to listen in our conversation' it made since now 'well goodnight Josh.' 'Goodnight Sadie.' With that I shut off my phone walked out of my office, to my room, took a shower, changed into a large t-shirt, brushed my teeth, and got into bed. 'Tomorrow is going to be a long day' I thought to myself just before I slipped away into the darkness of the night. I was gone and only the morning sun could wake me up from my deep sleep trance.
