Chapter 23: Happy Birthday Natsume!

Natsume's P.O.V

Hehehe, today is my 16th birthday! Hmm..... it's kinda weird that I don't go to school..... I wonder how I learned that much stuff...... oh yeah! I forgot that I trained with Igneel and the other dragons. I've become more powerful than Natsu >:D. But I'm still working on to be more powerful than Lucy-Sama........ ano...... what was I saying?...... oh yeah! My birthday. Hahaha, I need to work on my memory skills, ugh... I hope that Sting remeber my birthday, I know I only told him one month ago.... but he should still remember.. I wonder what the guild might do?

At the Fairy Tail guild

Natsume- Ohayou Gozaimasu! (Walks to Natsu, Lucy, and Happy)
Natsume- guess what today is?!
Lucy- hmmmm..... oh! I know! Today is when Erza's favorite cake store finally opens!

Lucy's P.O.V

Hehehe, Natsume told us it was her birthday, even though I already know! We are throwing a surprise party for her! And she didn't even know! But Natsu.... hugh! He just forgot our whole plan untill I flashed my eyes Red at him and then he's just like, " okay! Okay! I remeber now!".. Hehehe >:3. We're having the party at 12, and I have been spying on her for the last few weeks, and everytime it's twelve she goes to the guild to make sure no one suspicious is there! I love that she is protective for our guild!

At 10:00 at the guilD

Lucy (looks around)- OKAY! MINNA! LISTEN UP! STING TOOK NATSUME ON A SHOPPING SPREE SO WE STILL HAVE 2 MORE HOURS TO SET UP THE PARTY! LET'S GET STARTED!
Erza- Me, Wendy, Gajeel, and the others included will make the cake that we did last time for Azuka!
Panther Lily- wait! Awww! Not again!
Levy- Ne! Me and my team will get the lights and hiding spots for the members!
Lucy- Okay!
Mirajane- me and my siblings will prepare a song!
Elfman- Yosh! A song for Natsume, IS BEING A MAN!
Lisanna- hahaha, you're so silly Onee-Chan.
Lucy- good! This is going great! Natsu and Happy! Clean the tables and chairs!
Natsu- WAHHHH! I WANT TO DO THE STREAMERS AND DECORATIONS!
Lucy- no! The raijinshuu Team is already doing that!
Gray- I'll do the ice sculptures!
Juvia- Juvia will help also!

At 11 o'clock

The streamers were red, orange and blue. They were beautifully hung all over the railings, chairs and tables. The ice sculptures were made to look like Natsume, a Big Flame, and the Fairy Tail Isignia. Everything was going great! Except that Erza and the rest were still working on the cake, most of the birthday was almost done.

Natsume's P.O.V

Man! Not even Lucy and the guild don't remeber my birthday, NOT EVEN STING! Am I really special? They don't even know ma birthday! I know each and every birthday in the guild! Today is August 18th, my birthday, and nobody even suspects it! :( . Sting said he needed to use the bathroom so I sat on a bench in the mall, suddenly I saw a light figure appear, it was sting, the message said, " Sorry Natsume, I gotta deal with guild stuff, sorry I can't be with you the rest of the day. I love you! Bye!". And that was it.. can this day get any worse? Well, I should start heading to the guild to check up for anyone stupid to mess with us AGAIN.

No one's P.O.V

Natsume was heading towards the guild, when she noticed that no one was there she wondered "hmm, that's odd, Mirajane and Master should atleast be here, since Mirajane has to close up and stuff.....". When she was in the guild, Natsu quickly spit a fire on the delicious and beautiful cake on the candles. The candles sang the birthday song (the candles in the media). After it was done Natsume was tearing and the guild members turned on the lights and every jumped up and screamed SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She was even more happier when she saw Sting, Natsu, Lucy, and Happy smiling too!

Natsume- wahh? I.... I thought you guys forgot my birthday!
Lucy- well..... that was kinda a lie! I had to so I could do a SURPRISE birthday!
Natsume- okay, okay! I'm so happy! This is so BEAUTIFUL!
Lucy- yeah, sorry if it's to girly...
Natsume- Daijobu! It's perfect for me!
Sting- (Walks up to her) Happy birthday babe! (3 second kiss)
Natsume- thanks hun! ARIGOTO GOZAIMASU MINNA-SAN!
Levy- it's okay! No need to thank us! We should be thanking you for doing everything you could to help us, the guild, and for being our Nakama!
Natsume- aww! Le-Chan! You're so sweet! (Hugs)
Levy- hehehe, don't mention it.
Erza- OKAY OKAY! LET'S EAT CAKE!
(After cake)
Natsume- there's..... no presents?
Sting- no no no! Remember? I took you on a shopping spree! And since you're my FAVORITE girl in this galaxy, I have something for you from me, my guild, and your guild! (Whistles)

Rogue drives a truck backwards toward the guild. Sting then pushes Natsume toward letting her know to open the back truck trunk door. After opening it, there it was! Standing right in front of her face was hundreds of gifts in beautiful hand wrapping paper, with scent!

Natsume- O........M.......F......G....! YOU GUYS! YOU GUYS ARE THE MOST AWESOME NAKAMA'S ANYONE COULD HAVE!
Natsu- yup! We know, and they are ALL for you! No returns!
Natsume- umm.... are you sur-
Makarov- yes! Child, this is your day! We love you! Sorry we did it and it's already the day AFTER your day, but we can consider it!
Lucy- yeah! So have fun!
Natsu- Dont be so gloomy today!

Natsume- (is tearing up) Thank You! That was beautiful! This is the best day!
Natsu- well, it's 2:00 so, we better start getting ready and wrap up.
Natsume- mkay, this was an awesome night!

At Natsume's (new) apartment
