Ch8

Yukio's PoV:
When we entered route 214 we immediately encountered some people looking for a battle so I asked Cynthia if she wanted to first or if I should, she said I could so I battled the first person we came across and won against their misdreavus using Alaska, which Alaska leveled up to 16 (all the other battles Yukio fought, that's why her Pokémon is level 16.)
I got some money from her because they lost and we went further in route 214 seeing some ponytas roaming around a couple of sudowoodos together and some geodudes with one or two gravelers. I was thinking if I should catch a ponyta because I don't have a fire type but I decided not to because I could get a fire stone for eevee and see if she wanted to evolve into a flareon, or if i'm lucky enough maybe see if I can spot a wild houndoom here but that's all in luck. We then stopped at a cave and I asked Cynthia if she wanted go check it out and see if there is anything inside it. We then went in the cave and found a person staring at the wall we then went up to the person and ask why they are staring at the wall, he then blabbered about something but I wasn't really paying attention to them, I then saw something shimmer and walked over there while Cynthia was still listening to him and found a shiny stone, which could help Cynthia with evolving one of her Pokémon. When the boy stopped talking we just went outside the cave and Cynthia said that it was a waste walking inside the cave but I told her I found a shiny stone so it wasn't that much of a waste. Cynthia than asked if she could have it to help her evolve her roselia I said sure and gave it to her, when Cynthia had it she couldn't help herself and take out roselias pokeball and gove roselia the shiny stone which made roselia evolve into a roserade. After that little evolution we then went back to walking route 214 and we encountered some scientists that said no one can enter here because they were protecting a lake but we just ignored them and went to Lake Valors stairs to see if their is anything we should do. There wasn't really anything that we needed here so we just head to the next town until we were stopped by someone and they told us that Sunyshore City had a major blackout and that people are fixing the power outage right know so we headed back to route 214 and stay there until Sunyshore fixed their blackout problem. We then took a walk through the route again but this time I heard the sound of a houndoom possibly so I started to walk towards the noise with Cynthia in towed.

Cynthias POV:
Yukio and I heard a noise in the forest that sounds like a dog like Pokémon, Yukio then started heading to that direction and I followed her so that she would be safe and so I could help her if she is ever in trouble. We then headed deeper into the forest and we found a dog lime Pokémon I took out my pokedex to see what it was and it was a houndoom the fire dog Pokémon. I then heard Yukio speaking to me and said she wanted to catch it and said that I could watch her battle it. Yukio then got out of the bushes and challenged the houndoom to a battle, she took out her eevee and commanded it to use swift and the houndoom retaliated by using flamethrower, Yukio then said to her eevee to use swift again but this time let the houndoom move first and when it does dodge the attack and use swift in which eevee did the houndoom used tackle and eevee dodged that and used swift on houndoom which left it some damage. Houndoom then used flamethrower again and Yukio told eevee to dodge it which she did but got her tail caught on fire a little which eevee panicked but Yukio told her to roll around to put the fire out. When eevees tail finally wasn't on fire anymore the houndoom was up close to eevee and Yukio then told her to tackle it since the houndoom was going in for a bite, eevee then tackled it but not without getting some more damaged on her side by the bite. The houndoom didn't like it's face getting hurt but Yukio then said to use swift and the houndoom was even more damaged when Yukio thought it was good enough she threw a great ball to catch it and the houndoom didn't see it coming until it was in the pokeball and it got caught, which Yukio picked up and showed me. I then congratulated her and told her that her battling is good, she thanked me but she blushed a bit after Yukio caught the houndoom we went back to Lake Valors.

Yukio's POV:
When Cynthia congratulated me I couldn't help myself but blush. We then went back to Lake Valors because it was a bit past 12:00 and that we should see if we can get to Sunyshore City, when we got back and headed to the stairs but got stopped again so we just headed to route 213 and find a different patch if we could. We encountered some people that wanted a little battle so I let Cynthia battle first. When I battled I decided to try and use magikarp because we were near the ocean so I let out magikarp in the ocean and we battled. I told magikarp to use splash and when the Pokémon closes it eyes you use tail slap. (Magikarp can use tail slap because any fish knows how to slap their tail.) when the Pokémon closed it's eyes magikarp then slapped it with it's tail twice, disorienting the Pokémon so I told it to use tackle with as much power as it could muster, which it did and got the Pokémon in the red health. The Pokémon was soon not disoriented anymore and used tackle on magikarp but I told it to dodge which it did because magikarp is fast in the water, when the Pokémon was in the water magikarp then used tackle on the Pokémon knocking it out in the water and magikarp level up to 10. We then got to the end of route 213 and headed to Pastoria City it was getting late and we just entered Pastoria City so we decided to camp out in the forest, I let out my Pokémon which were Alaska, eevee, magikarp, and houndoom. Houndoom seemed pretty angry at me and eevee so I apologized to it and gave it some food and berries to make it up while feeding the rest of the Pokémons, when they were full we returned them into their pokeballs but it seemed houndoom didn't want to be in their pokeball so I left it out and just asked it to follow us and we headed down the road to Pastoria City and found a Pokémon center to beal our Pokémon from the battles and rent a room because it was getting dark. Once our Pokémon were healed we went to our rooms and placed our pokeballs down for them to rest and I let houndoom rest on my bed, while we went out of our room to eat some food that nurse joy prepared for the other people renting a room in here to eat, she made some soup with bread and some vegetables on the side, we enjoyed the food and once we were full we headed back to our room and I saw houndoom take up all the space on my bed. I then heard Cynthia ask if I wanted to sleep with her since houndoom doesn't seem like their going to move, I blushed a bit but said yes because I didn't want to sleep on the ground so we got changed and headed to Cynthias bed facing away from each other but I was blushing up a storm because I was sleeping with Cynthia (Not the sleeping you pervs might be thinking) I then eventually fell asleep.

Cynthias POV:
When I asked if Yukio wanted to sleep with me for tonight because of her houndoom taking up her bed she said yes so we got changed and layed down together facing away from each other I then waited till Yukio fell asleep because I was feeling nervous for no reason but eventually I heard Yukio's soft breathing indicating she has fallen asleep so I turned around and sat up to look at her sleeping face and I must say her face is very beautiful, thankfully it was dark and that she was sleeping so she couldn't see me blushing a bit I then looked over and saw houndoom looking at us so I told it to be quiet, I then layed back down but on my side and carefully put my arms around Yukio's waist because Yukio was shorter then me.
