It was the next day in Canalave city where we see our protagonist asleep still, but was brutally woken up by a flying zoroark and almost killing her.

Exaggerating aside Yukio didn't like how she was woken up one bit and punched Alaska in the face, before pulling the covers back up to sleep.

Then Cynthia came in and shook Yukios shoulders to wake her up instead of jumping on her like Alaska did. Yukio soon woke up groaning because of Alaska waking her up and very sluggishly get dress and eat some breakfast.

After eating breakfast they went to the steel gym for Cynthia's 6th gym badge and soon for Yukio's gible that she'll catch.

It was Cynthia's win because her gabite is level 46 which is 7-9 level difference. Now that Cynthia has her badge which is called the mine badge we can finally go and find a gible in one of the caves here in Canalave city.

Yukio then looked up where gibles were spotted nearby in Canalave city and it showed they were nostly spotted nearby cycling road down below called wayward cave.

She then followed the map to find the area with Cynthia following close behind to also know where they usually live since she had her gible when she was just an egg and is curious where her partner would be living.

They then get to cycling road and look down since the phone is pointing downwards. Yukio looks down and looks back at Cynthia saying i'm gonna jump.

Cynthia- no you won't and we better take the safer route if there is one because I don't wanna see you hurt.

Yukio- watch me then

Yukio then backs up and starts preparing to run onto the bar and jump down while Cynthia get's ready to capture her if she really does jump.

Yukio then runs and jumps but Cynthia caught her because she was to fast to after getting brutally awoken which caused Yukio to be a bit slow because her ribs are still sore.

Cynthia then pulls Yukio up and started scolding her and then snatching her phone away and looking up a safer option on going down there which is very difficult unless you have a flying type then you can take the short cut and fly down there.

Neither of them has a flying Pokemon so Yukio immediately starts heading back to get herself a flying type and training it so she can get sown there. Before Yukio could catch a flying type Cynthia challenges Yukio to a battle and if she wins she can get a flying type but if she loses they will be doing it the more safe option.

Yukio agreed and they went to a better place to battle. They then stood across from one another and called out their gabite/ zoroark.

Then the battle begun between Alaska and garchomp.

The battle ended with Yukio being the winner after all her loses with Cynthia so Cynthia had to let Yukio catch a flying type and evolving it into a big Pokémon for them to fly on.

Yukio then found a wingull to catch and train. When Yukio caught it she immediately sent it out and the wingull was happy that it's out again. Yukio then started talking to the wingull and saying how she will make the wingull evolve and help her get down to the wayward cave.

The wingull didn't know what was coming when they were caught by Yukio, but after Yukio caught it she started to train all her Pokémon super hard so that they can last longer in battles and Cynthia was just watching wondering if she should do this as well even though she didn't doubt her Pokémon abilities at all.
