Thor returned to Jane after tending the crash. He had, for no reason, come up to her door to ask her if she were okay. She was, but she admittedly had wished that she could have answered the door to a darker haired god. "We're here," Thor quickly said to Jane before speeding down the halls again, to the main room, where they would go out to the grassy dull field where she'd found Odin. Her feet made no sound as they followed Thor through the wet dew-covered field. "Friends, we have arrived in New Asgard." Thor solemnly said.

The people grimly scanned the place for some good way to make camp. The majority had found wood from a nearby forest and built small forts for one surprisingly quickly, and the others began to kindle fire. Some stayed on the ship. Thor had gone somewhere with a borrowed axe to cut wood, but would probably come back soon because the sky was rapidly brightening as morning began to touch the air. The clouds were dreary and gray still, and, unfortunately, mirrored the mood of the Asgardians. Jane still didn't blame them, though. She took in a deep breath of the cold salty air and watched her visible breath float away. She felt like there was something that had to be searched for. That she had to find. But whatever it was was beyond her, and she did not think she would find it in a while. What would she do now? What should she do now? She had learned how to make a portal, which was no help at all because she didn't know where exactly Darcy or Erik was, nor did she know where.. anybody else she wanted to see was... Sighing, Jane stepped through her portal to the inside of the ship. The metal walls had become much too familiar and she walked past each section, absently wandering around the ship. She truly had to be honest with herself. She did miss him, didn't she? It would only make things worse if she didn't admit it- but what about what he had done? Jane rubbed her forehead, she had never faced such internal chaos- not when she had books- she miserably wished she could read something.

"Jane! There you are!" Thor said, popping out from around the corner.

Jane smiled the best she could and answered, "Hey! What is it?"

"I've made something for you. Come on."

Jane brightened slightly at the God of Thunder's cheeriness and followed him from the ship to the field which looked considerably nicer with the sun peeking out slightly out of the clouds, bathing the grass in glorious golden light. A small makeshift building of fresh wood stood out, having not been there before. "How is it possible to build a house in three hours?" Jane asked, shocked and impressed. "That is my house-for now. It is not weather proof, and I will build a palace eventually." Thor smiled at Jane but she sensed the sadness behind his face. "That's amazing." Jane added. She felt that she wasn't the only one masking feelings.

"Follow me now," Thor said. He showed her another building, smaller but no less quality. "How did you create these?" Jane asked, admiring the work. "With practice," Thor told her gently. "Asgard has fallen before, but.. not this much." They both stared for a moment at Thor's craftsmanship. "It's for you, you see." Thor said. "No, I couldn't." Jane shook her head, refusing to receive such a gift. "I'd feel bad." Thor looked at her again, and smiled. "Jane, I want to be together again." He took one of her hands in his enormous one, warming it. Taken aback, Jane felt her cheeks become warm and pink again. "I- I don't know." She stuttered, looking down. "I would love too, but-" But what? How he had gotten so caught up with other things? How she had gotten too busy with her work? And Loki? Her blood boiled as she thought about how stressed she had been with him, and she bit the inside of her lip. "I'll think about it," she said. She could have had a perfectly fine relationship as a friend but he just had to ruin it. She remained staring down as guilt caught up to her. Thor looked at her again. "Thank you," he finished. "Would you like to go in?" Jane nodded and he showed her the empty single space in the hut. It was neat, and included a solitary window. If anything, it reminded her of the compartment in the ship, but much nicer. "This is amazing, thank you!" Jane smiled. She knew they both were trying to ignore the conversation that had just passed. She was really reminded of the love triangles in romance shows that she had made fun of when Darcy watched them.

"I'm sorry, Thor." She managed. "I don't think we're fit for each other. I mean you're a go. You're a king." She blinked a few times, and looked up again. "If you truly think so." Thor answered with a bitter chuckle. He left her in the house, swinging the creaking door shut. Jane's guilt tugged at her mind, and ached painfully. He had given her so much and she really just.. left him... he wouldn't have been happy with her, anyways. Jane removed her sleeping bag from the pocket dimension. She couldn't be feeling sleepy now, not in the afternoon... but her eyelids betrayed her as they weighed and fell shut.

A lone figure stood on the edge of a barren white snow-covered cliff, facing out. "What are you doing here?" his cold voice asked, still facing out.

"I don't know." Jane answered honestly, taking a few steps toward him. "I'm just dreaming."

"It happens if you have the ability to use magic and you want to see someone. But of course, wouldn't you rather see dear Thor?" Loki quietly asked.

"If you want me to leave, fine. I will-" Jane began crossly.

"Stay." Loki quickly interrupted.

Silence.

"If you really want to know, I rejected Thor." Jane breathed after a few moments.

"How interesting." Loki said flatly.

Jane rolled her eyes. "Turn around," She commanded. Loki turned slowly.

"I thought you hated Earth?" Jane asked, genuinely wondering.

"I think the species that live on it.. lowly." Loki slowly added, "in some cases. But the places are not."

"Svalbard?" Jane asked, recognizing the cold landscape.

"Yes." Loki answered, looking surprisingly impressed.

"What do you mean by some cases?" Jane inquired.

Loki smiled. "Astrophysicists, I think." He took her in his arms and Jane pressed her lips to his, forgetting that it was a dream. She held his leathered shoulders and brushed her hair upon his forehead, not caring that it sprawled all over both of them. "I wish this were real," Jane whispered hoarsely. "It will be. Soon." Loki answered as she ran her fingers through his sleek dark hair.
