A few minutes later I was transferred to another room. As soon as I was settled in the nurse asked if I would like to give the baby his first flu shot to which Bucky immediately refused.

My parents had gone back to the house to sleep and Bucky refused to leave, making me laugh.

"So, what do you have there, Daddy?" I asked as he stood by the couch looking out the window lost in thought.

He frowned before blinking, as if coming back to the present. "Hm? Oh. I got you some flowers, and I got our boy a onesie." He told me proudly as he pulled it out.

I smiled as I saw the combination of roses, sun flowers, baby breaths, and lavender. "They're beautiful. Thank you, красивый." I whispered as he sat next to me and helped me open the gift box.

In it was a little onesie, which had something sewn on the chest. 'наше маленькое чудо'

I felt my eyes tear up as I read it. "Our little miracle?"

He nodded as he reached over and whipped my face. "That's what he is. Both of you are my miracles. You saved me." He told me.

I leaned my head onto his chest as I slowly laid the baby onto my legs, and slowly slipped the onesie on.

"So, what are we going to name the little one?" He asked me as we sat there admiring the sleeping baby in my arms.

I smiled as I gently ran the back of my fingers along his soft, little cheek. "Theodore James Barnes." I whispered in response.

A bright smile lit his face as he heard, "Theo? As in after-?" He began as I nodded.

"After my dad's father." I whispered.

Bucky's eyes swam as he nodded. I knew my grandfather had taken him in after his parents perished in a car crash, making him the sole heir to the empire they built.

That name held a special meaning to him, so it held a special meaning to me.

"It's perfect, моя любовь." He said as he kissed me. "I love it. Just like I love you." He said as the baby grunted. "And you too, of course." He adds amused.

As soon as the baby and I were cleared we were allowed to go home.

The baby shower gifts were waiting for us.

As were the rest of our family.

My father teared up when we told him the name of our son.

Six Weeks Later:

I sighed in relief as I walked into our house.

Up until now, I had been under Dr. Calvin's care. Thankfully, there were no complications after I gave birth to Teddy.

I had gone in with my mom, who had given birth to Grant, my little brother.

The doctor had cleared me with a perfect bill of health.

We were finally able to go home three days ago. I had yet to tell Bucky, who had come home earlier thanks to some complications in the company, that I hadn't seen him since.

"So, how is Grant doing?" I asked her as we had lunch.

Teddy was fast asleep in his pram, while we ate.

"He's perfectly perfect." She tells me with a wide smile.

I smiled back as we ate, "Do you know how everyone else is doing?" I asked.
