When I arrived home, Laurie was already gone. Maybe she went to the store to get a pie. It's been awhile since I've been here, but I finally got a call from Corey. Picking up my phone, I answered pressing the speaker button. I was currently laying down on my bed and was scrolling through the latest news of Haddonfield before he called.

"Hey."

"Hi, Corey. Are you done?"

"Yes, I just finished now, and I'm coming to get you."

"Did he let you go early? It's not even near the time you're done."

"I don't want to get into why. See you, Y/n"

Before I could say goodbye, he hung up. That was strange. Maybe that's something I should just leave alone. On the news site, it read the same old things it usually did. Still no sightings of Michael or killing. Maybe if someone were to die, I could get a lead on the location. But that was most likely not going to happen. Before Corey got here, I had to go clean up Laurie's mess. Heading downstairs from my room, I go into the kitchen and clean the sink out from Laurie's pie. Seem's like she left it for me to clean up. How nice of her. It looked so gross being burned on all sides when I threw it away. One of these days, she was going to burn this house down. Cooking was not Laurie's thing. But she did make some pretty good things when she didn't forget to set the timer. I had most of the house cleaned up by the time I heard Corey knocking on the door. Setting down my broom, I head over to the door and fix my hair before opening it.

The door opened by itself before I could open it. Corey was standing there.

"Jeez, Y/n. Weren't you ever going to open the door?"

"You were only standing there for a second."

"Haha, I guess you're right. I'm just excited to spend some more time with you."

"You're not going to crash us right?"

"I hope not. Come hop on."

I closed the door behind me and followed Corey to his motorcycle. He got on and turned the key, starting it. Grabbing a hair tie from my pocket, I put my hair into a bun, not wanting my hair to wiping around my face. That should have been done earlier, but that thought didn't occur to me. Lifting myself over the motorcycle, I wrap my arms around Corey's waist.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes, let's go."

Corey pulled out of the driveway, revving the motorcycle, and sped off down the street. This was the first time I'd ever been on one of these. And I did not like it at all. It was an accident waiting to happen. Plus, bugs kept flying in my face. That was not pleasing at all. I leaned my face down onto Corey's back and held on tighter, fearing I would fall off.

"You okay back there?"

"Yea, I'm just not too crazy about this."

"You'll get used to it over time."

After crossing Alee Lane, we finally reached the One-Stop Shop. Driving in, I saw a homeless person dressed in rags digging through the dumpster. He turned around and stared at me as Corey parked up at the ice cooler. As he put the kickstand down, I got off and took my hair down. Looking back over at the homeless man, he was still digging through the trash. I'd be sure to grab him some food in here. It was the least I could do for the poor man. I follow behind Corey, and he opens the door and goes over to the drink section in the back.

"I'm going to go grab some food."

I got Laurie a pie, and that man outside some snacks and a drink. Going back to Corey, he was still looking inside the fridge.
