I looked over to my phone only to see 10 missed notifications from 'walkie talkies'.
Yes you've heard it right. It's the new group I've joined recently, or rather my friends added me without me even knowing beforehand. I won't say that I'm not enjoying being in this group. That'll be a complete lie. I'm getting along pretty well with the group members.
Bip. Bip. Bip.
I groaned after hearing my phone beep again. This time it's the sound of the alarm that wakes me up. I checked my phone to see it's 8:00 AM right now.
Within five minutes I finish brushing my teeth and started getting ready for a quick shower before my mother yells from the kitchen to call me for the breakfast.
Within half an hour I come out from the shower and started getting ready for the school.
As I finished filling my school bag with school supplies, I hear my mom screaming from the kitchen, " Lily! are you thinking of skipping your school for today? Haven't you seen the clock already? " I groan after hearing her yelling and say, " I'll be coming down soon. Give me a minute. " With that I quickly tie my hair into a cute ponytail and go down to have my breakfast.
I finish having it quickly and grab my backpack and run towards the door before yelling to my mom " I'm going to school " And went out.
At around 5:30 pm I returned from school. I quickly get myself a quick shower and jumped on the bed, grabbing my phone from the night stand. As I open ' Walkie Talkies ' I see an unfamiliar no. talking to everyone in the group. Being confused I started typing in the group.
Me : Who are you?
Emily : Relax Lily, he's a new member in our group, added by Lucas. He was added when you were at school.
Me : Can I atleast know his name?
Easton : My name is Easton.
Easton : what's your name now?
Me : My name's Lily.
After this conversation in the group, I closed my phone and placed it on the night stand and dosed off to sleep.

Next Day
I woke up at 8 in the morning and opened my phone to see a missed notifications from an unknown number. As I checked to see the message, I quickly recognized the number.
It was from the new boy in the group.
